A: Yes, you can download content such as movies to this device.
Q: what are the pluses to having wi fi only device, Fire HD 8?
A: I have only had WiFi only devices besides my phone and since I have three kids and let them use it I don't have to worry about data charges especially if were to go over your data limit. Also, my wife asked me this simple question: Where do we go that you don't have WiFi available? I thought about it and agreed with her question. Ask yourself when and where do you mostly use your devices?

A: I am sorry to tell you that most tablets, if not all, do not support any corded internet. That is not how it's supposed to work. Buy a laptop if you are looking for corded internet function.
A: This is a WiFi only model and can only be used via WiFi. This model has an Android based operating system that is exclusive to Amazon devices.

A: Hi Sarah, I bought a mini-SD card. There's a little slot where it goes in the Kindle. Very easy! Cost is $10-15.

A: Yes, but it's not a very good one, and the video is very laggy.
Q: once you read a book,what happens to that book?
A: What happens to the book is up to you. You can delete it from the device if you wish, and it will be stored in the Amazon Cloud, presumably forever. Then, if you wish to read it again, you can re-load it. It will always remain in your Library unless you manually delete it from the Library.
A: You don't need prone to use it. A normal free Amazon account will do, if you don't have one out will help you make one so you can download apps (like facebook and Netflix)
