A: It would be generous to say fair. A more accurate description is USED, not REFURBISHED. There are dents, a cracked HDMI port, a USB port that is so worn out you have to prop something underneath the cable in order for it to keep a connection, the screen is scratched, the battery icon gives me a "need to replace battery soon" warning, and every port is stuffed full of lint and dust.

A: I don't think they fixed anything on mine. The screen was scratched, the HDMI port was cracked, it was dented, the USB port is loose and doesn't hold a good connection, the battery needs replaced, and the ports were full of lint and dirt.
