The machine is in good condition. The machine performs well and has exceeded my expectations so far. The screen is in great condition with no scuffs or dead pixels. The keyboard is also in great condition with no loose or bad keys. All the usb ports work with no issue. The machine also holds a charge while on battery.

First, the MacBook functions properly and I don't have any disappointment regarding the product in this way. I upgraded from a MacBook that was way older than this one. So the performance of the newer product is a nice upgrade. The laptop was listed and sold as a "refurbished" laptop. I would love to see what was actually refurbished on this machine. I completely understand that I ultimately bought a used laptop and was not expecting that the machine look like a new laptop. However, there are dents, a cracked HDMI port, a USB port that is so worn out you have to prop something underneath the cable in order for it to keep a connection, the screen is scratched, the battery icon gives me a "need to replace battery soon" warning, AND EVERY SINGLE PORT ON THIS COMPUTER IS STUFFED FULL OF LINT AND DUST! In my opinion, not only is this laptop NOT REFURBISHED, but it is a used laptop that they couldn't even bother cleaning the dirt out of it before reselling it. I would not recommend spending the money on this, at least not from Best Buy. You would think that for $1,400 they could at least clean it. Below is a picture of the lint from one port I cleaned out.

You should be ready to spend money on repairing the laptop. What goes on in the warehouse where these are refurbished I cannot say but I believe that the QC process is seriously lacking. My laptop arrived scratched, dirty, missing case screws, and now after 4 months I need a new battery.

Very happy with the speed and efficiency of this model. Super unhappy with how unclean the laptop was. It was filthy with dust and dirt all over the keyboard. Super unhappy that the battery is going out already and we just received the computer. We went in to Best Buy to see if they could help us, since we bought the computer there, and was told to go elsewhere (Apple Store or Mac Experience) but warned that they may not help us either since the laptop is from 2016. A little warning when selling $1000 products might be nice. I'm not thrilled that I spent that kind of money on a secondhand laptop for my son, and the company who sold it to me won't help fix the battery issue.

The laptop worked really good. But the charger died after a year of use. and the battery on the laptop dies fairly quickly. Other then that. The laptop works great. Large screen and works with many features even though it’s an old model

Laptop came in better shape than I expected! Just some cosmetic damage underneath but other than that, decent condition. Works great. Pretty satisfied thus far!

Didn't know what to expect with a used laptop. I received a good kept conditioned laptop. Did have minor scratches but nothing too noticeable. Happy customer.

Order online as used computer. One week later got it. Seems like I got the same computer as someone else. Got it started updating it and it shut off. Charged it. Started again. Shut down every ten minutes. And it wasn’t wiped clean. Brought it to store geek squad told me after a few hours having it. They wiped it clean and tested it with no problems. Brought it home and it started shutting down again. Brought it back and they told me to return it and get another used one. Really wish ppl that tested computers actually did there job because now I have to wait another 2 weeks for another one and for money to go back to my credit card to purchase.

I had been looking for a great deal on a MacBook for a few months, and stumbled across a listing on bestbuy.com. It was pre-owned, but the price was much cheaper than buying new so I decided to take a chance. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. The MacBook works great and has very little wear on it.

Deal look good so I ordered it online arrived laptop look new open it up turn it on I few minutes shut off so I put to charge. 5hrs later turn it back on it was perfect 20 minutes later shut off again. Email the Company that sends refurbish macs never got Back to me 2 weeks later emailed then Again then finally someone Got back 2 days later.

I ran Ableton live 10 with stems and videos and this laptop ran perfectly fine. No lag what so ever.

Same performance as my 2017 model purchased brand new. Needed a separate laptop for business where I put lots of strain on my MacBook pros and I didn’t notice any major differences.

The anti-glare coating on the display is falling off, this is a used item so totally understandable but could have been listed in description

I have to tell you, I had my fingers and toes crossed, since people have said that it is the luck of the draw when you get a pre-owned device. This laptop is in almost new condition... the only thing is the teeny tiniest little nick on the side of the top. It took days for me to notice, and I looked everywhere! Most importantly, it is fast and works great. Very happy with this purchase!

Other than the battery wearing quicker than new laptops, it runs like new.

I have nothing but Apple products and needed an additional MacBook to use remotely. It was received in great condition, very, very slightly less than out of the box. I've had it over a month now with no issues whatsoever.

Best investment of my lifetime, I was a daily Ipad user, after this, daily mac user. What can I say, its a mac!

For a four year old laptop, it still runs like it was new. Thanks to the intel processor and 16gb ram. MacBooks are always top quality laptops

Easy to set up and use. I got the apple mouse for myself but he is younger and is happy with the pad. We both love it

Love the screen size, had to return one unit due to damage but my 2nd one has worked like a charm!
