A: You can put a Metro PCS SIM card in any phone. Whether it will do anything is another question. What you mean to ask is whether you can USE the Metro service with this phone. The answer is yes.
Q: This phone is refurbrished?
A: Not really. You are buying a used phone as is. Best Buy does nothing more than put it in an iPhone box and resell it. I received a locked phone.
Q: can this phone be used for Boost Mobile?
A: Hi, as far as I know it can be used for any carrier, you just need to get a sim card from the carrier. We have ATT, I brought it into the store , they put a SIM card in and added it to our account
A: No guarantee that they are unlocked. The one I received was locked and could not be activated. Per Best Buy’s online customer service rep - B.B. tells the previous owner to come tact their provider to unlock it but does nothing to verify that has been done.

A: Ohh sorry the camera was broken but Best Buy replaced it with a new one before reselling.
