A: Well it greatly depends on what you are using it for but currently I'm at 97% with 8 hours of battery life remaining.
Q: Would I be able to use a Stylus pen for signatures?
A: Yes, a stylus will work just fine.
A: Yes, you can absolutely upgrade the RAM. I believe this system can support up to 16GB of RAM. When you open the bottom of the laptop you'll see the RAM cards right on top. Just open the retention arms and pull it out (carefully).
Q: What are the differences between the 5th and 6th generation i5 processors?
A: 6th generation processors are a small percentage faster and more efficient than 5th generation processors. Also, 6th gen processors support functions such as 3D facial recognition (if you're into that). The differences are small and you would be fine with either one. You may not even notice a difference.
Q: Does it come with microsoft office, ie words, power point, excel, and outlook.
A: No it does not. Microsoft is trying to get people to pay the subscription fees to Office 365. The days of included Office Suites are over, I'm afraid.
Q: how well does this computer do with pc gaming?
A: This is not a gaming laptop but it can play modern games on low to medium settings with acceptable FPS. The laptop uses the built in graphics on the i5 processor and not a discreet graphics card. If you not plan on causal gaming then it should be ok. If you want to play often and for long periods then I would pay the extra money for a Asus ROG laptop.
Q: How much faster is the i5 than the i3?
A: For general use you won't see much of a difference. However, the i5 is clocked at 2.4 GHz with the i3 running at 1.9 GHz. The i5 will out perform the i3 when it comes to tasking programs and higher work loads.
A: It's on sale now for $376. The girl at the store also gave me an extra $20 off for some reason, coming out to a total (after IL taxes) of $391.
