A: I would imagine that it would heat up noticeably hot if you have the screen totally flipped over for long periods if time running intense software. It appears the intake air vent is on the bottom side if the laptop and the two exhaust ports are on the back and left side. I use pretty CPU/GPU I intensive apps for rendering. If I have the laptop on my lap it heats up a lot as this blocks the underside air intake vents. Not excessive but wow that's hot kind of hot. If I place it on a table for a while it cools down fast. Just be aware of the intake vents and allow the machine to breathe. Doing normal things that are low cpu/gpu usage I have not noticed heat issues. Battery life goes hand in hand with CPU/GPU usage. High CPU usage will make the battery last a few hours. I always turn my battery saver on and then it lasts for 5hrs or better but that totally depends on what you do with it. I too wish it lasted longer but it's a high horsepower machine and compromises are made.
Q: I would like to know what sylus pens are compatible with this laptop?
A: My wife’s surface pro 4 pen works fine on this laptop.
Q: Should the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Office be installed on this laptop and why?
A: It comes with a 64-bit operating system. So you should install the 64-bit version when possible.
Q: How is the keyboard and touchpad comparing with Macbook's?
A: Better than MAC. We have 3 of theses machines.
A: I'd skip the Q534UX, UX501VW, and N850VD at minimum. These models are known to use PenTile RG/BW, not-true-UHD displays. They don't show you the full detail of the resolution, but still make you deal with Windows DPI scaling (yes, Adobe apps give you a tiny UI unless you use a registry workaround). You also run the risk of receiving a Samsung-manufactured panel with mediocre contrast, mustard yellows, and only ~70% sRGB, instead of an LG panel with 90%+ sRGB. The attached photos demonstrate the incomplete matrix, and the sidebar on http://reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/ contians more information about this. It isn't known whether this Q535UD model exhibits this same issue, so be aware of that before you decide to buy, research how to tell the issue once you receive the laptop, and please post feedback online here or somewhere once you have determined whether the UHD is true or not. If you want the UHD resolution, the following models use the real deal: - Lenovo Yoga 720 UHD - Lenovo Flex 5 UHD (be aware: FHD model has low sRGB) - Dell XPS 15 UHD - HP Spectre x360 UHD If you're fine with FHD 1920x1080, the following models have high sRGB IPS FHD displays - Lenovo Yoga 720 FHD - Dell XPS 15 FHD

A: The ssd for the main drive is an M.2 2280. The is a saftey screw hidden (under a circle of plastic) in the middle of the laptop that must be removed in order to open the case.
A: Yes of course.
A: I have bought it for my daughter last month. She is happy with it so far.
