The flagship ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming WiFi motherboard is designed with boosted power delivery and optimized cooling to cope with the demands of powerful 11th Generation Intel® Core™ Rocket Lake processors
A: If you mean does this come with an Intel CPU, then the answer is no. You must purchase that separately. It does however have the Z590 chipset for the south bridge which controls the lower PCIe slots, SATA connections, so on. Every slot is backwards capable of PCIe 3.0x1. The only way that you can get PCIe 4.0 on the top slots is with the use of a 11th gen CPU. If you use 10th gen, everything is 3.0.
Q: What are the power supply requirements!
A: You could get by with a 350Watt PS. I'm still using my Antec 850 Watt PS from 12 years ago. So the big question is, what are you add on boards? Do they require more power? Rule of thumb is 550W does just about everything well, but the higher the power supply, The less you have to deal with power issues.
Q: is this motherboard already setup for windows 11
A: Yes, You just have to do some BIOS settings.
Q: Can the ram go to 32GB or higher with the 4 slots?
A: Yes. I run 64GB on mine.
Q: Would this work with the AMD - Ryzen 7 5800X 4th Gen 8-core
A: Intel only, B version for AMD.
Q: Does this motherboard is going to work for i5,i7,i9 12th gen series
A: No it is only compatible with 10th gen and 11th gen Processors.
Q: What’s underneath the metal plates?? Was hoping for pcie slots lol.
A: There are 4 m.2 drives under the heat syncs. The only way for all 4 to be available is if you have an 11th gen cpu.
Q: Does the motherboard work with MSI rx 6800 gpu?
A: undefined
