Q: Does this kettle make beeping sounds at anytime and if so, is it possible to disable the beeping?
A: Okay, I am the one who asked the question. I was happy with the answer and made the purchase. The thing beeps at everything you do. Every push of every button and when you lift the kettle and set it down. Exactly what I didn't want. Also, another question asks if the tea brewing part is removable and you said yes it is. Well, it is not. Maybe your team should actually know your products before answering questions. Total waste of my time.

A: The lid & basket come completely out of the top. I use it to boil water all the time.
Q: Do plastic parts come in contact with water? Like the inside of the lid?
A: I wish people would stop saying plastic does not contact the water. The top of the tea steeper is plastic inside, the underside of the kettle’s lid is plastic, and the piece that holds the screen in the spout is plastic. You’d have to remove the steeper and the spout screen and run the unit without the lid (not safe or efficient) to avoid plastic contact.

A: Just to contradict the other answer, the upper part of the tea steeper (what the basket twists on to) is plastic. That’s obviously going to be submerged in your water. Also, the underside of the kettle’s lid is plastic and the holder of mesh screen on the spout is plastic. Each of those will contact your water when you pour.

A: I have no idea! But I can assure you with my first-hand experience that this brand is not legitimate! They are nothing but a bunch of scammers. Try contacting them for their warranty a month after use and you’ll see for yourself. These brands should not be allowed to sell on large platforms.
