I was giving this monitor its first test run while playing Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare (A very vibrant, colorful game) admiring what I thought was a pretty nice picture and my wife walked in and said, "Oh! Wow. You did a really REALLY good job with this monitor, baby." And that's all I needed to know. I mean, yes, I thought it looked a great deal better than the old Samsung Syncmaster 305T (which just started dying again after I reflowed the solder and revived it for the third time about 10 months ago), but I was very happy to hear exactly how much better it looked from another point of view. This monitor offers DVI, HDMI, and Display Port. Also has built-in speakers which I will never use. Height adjustment and tilt are present and offer plenty range of motion in my opinion (don't know the precise degrees of motion). The swivel goes around almost, but not quite exactly 360 degrees. I have no idea why I'd ever need that, but hey, maybe someone would. Very very bright compared to my old syncmaster, which I still thought was bright. I've read the colors are accurate, but I have no way of testing this, nor do I really have an eye for it without a side-by-side. Contrast is great as well. Again, just subjective opinion here compared with an old syncmaster (and an even older 19" Acer monitor, possibly 10 years old). If I had the money, I'd definitely buy a couple more of these and set up a 3-screen gaming machine with Dual graphics, etc, etc, etc. If I had a nice webcam, I'd set this monitor up as a mirror. That's how good I think it looks. Okay, I probably wouldn't, but you get the idea. This monitor is sharp and vibrant. Other thoughts: The product page here on bestbuy.com is pretty horrible. I recommend looking up reviews and photos on other websites to get a better idea of what this product is capable of. In any case, I strongly recommend this monitor from my own experience and based on other reviews I'm probably not allowed to link to from here.

This was by far the best deal I could find on a 27", 2K, IPS monitor. I have been using it for about a month now the picture is great, very sharp, no dead pixels. My only problem was with the setup. I had all of the cables connected but all I got was the message "No cable connected". It turns out that message meant that I hadn't selected the input yet. It would have been better if the message told me to select the input. That step was not mentioned anywhere in the Benq instructions. I only found it by googling the problem. I'm sure some people would think that was obvious but for those of you like me, do the following after connecting the monitor. Use the buttons on the right side to open the menus, then go to input and select your connection. I am only planning on using one connection so I used the autoswitch function under system settings to make sure the input is always on HDMI. That way I don't have to select the input every time I power up the monitor.

A great 27' monitor. I believe the 24" is the Official monitor for the MLG if you are into gaming. My only quarrel with it is that I am unable to use the DisplayPort with it because currently nVidia is having issues with their drivers and this monitor. It has been an ongoing issue and is yet to be resolved. Not really BenQ's fault but still needs to be noted.

I love this monitor. You should read the other reviews about needing a DVI cable to get the advertised resolution. Once it is hooked up it looks great. I really like that the stand allows you to turn it to a portrait orientation. I use this only for occasional gaming, so I would look to other reviews for comments on how it performs there.

If you're looking for a larger (27") IPS monitor with great color/clarity, this is definitely a solid option to settle on. 2560 x 1440 resolution is spectacular and having 2 of these bad boys mounted in some VESA clamps to my desk has made for a highly enjoyable work and gaming space.

I used this monitor to replace two smaller monitors. It is excellent quality. I use it for general purpose tasks, no gaming.
