- A: AnswerHi there, The sync module itself does not provide storage, but if you plug a USB flash drive into it then clips will get stored there. That will also work for the outdoor cameras. If you don't use a Subscription for cloud storage or a USB for local storage you won't be able to record videos with either device.

Blink door with Module
You could record anyone passing by your door and it records perfect. If someone is at your door you could speak to them without being home through your phone using the blink app. The blink module helps you save your recording on a usb stick and It allows you to add the additional blink home cameras if you intend to add more cameras to your home. I feel safe now. It was easy to install and the customer service is great!

Grandma's House
I bought this for my grandma's house. She's getting older and it helps me keep tabs on her and the neighborhood concerns. I haven't quite figured out if it will chime through the Echo Show I got her. I appreciate the additional layer of security it provides.
