Q: Is there an optional kit to convert it to ductless? If so how much depth does it add to the unit?
A: Yes, there is a ductless kit. I got mine direct from Broan. You assemble it inside the hood prior to mounting so it does not add any additional depth. It basically redirects the airflow to work as a recirculating hood. This hood is great.
