Unbelievably great scanner
I just got a new Fujitsu at work and realized how slow my multifunction home printer's scanning function was. I do A LOT of heavy scanning at home, so needed something pretty fast that could handle multipage documents. Since I wasn't getting rid of the printer, I also needed something small. I liked the speed of the work Fuijitsu but was unwilling to pay the price for one on my own (approx $700#. I read good reviews on this on PC Mag and purchased it. It is BETTER than the Fuijitsu. I can't quite figure out the Fujitsu scanning software, and it's not that intuitive. I've messed around with the Fujitsu for a few hours and I'm still now quite sure when how to use all the functions #and I don't have a lot of time to be going through the entire help menu#. After a long disk setup #I made lunch during the setup#, I was up and scanning in 2 minutes. It's fast, very light and portable, scan quality is excellent, does "true" 2 sided scanning #scans boths sides at once), and cost approx 1/3 of the price of the fancy one at work. The software is easy to use and makes great sense right out of the box. I generally never bother to write reviews, but this product is truly outstanding.
