No Clickety Clack! Love color combinations, too!
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is the first time I have experienced this brand and I must say that I love it. I'm not a gamer, by any means. In fact, I don't play any games at all. I bought this keyboard because it helps me to see when I'm working at night. Since the shelter in place order, I have been working from home and I find that I work more at night than I do during the day. So, when I don't want to have the lights on full brightness, this helps me to make sure I am on the right keys. I really like that I can change the color combination. My laptop has built in lights, but they are white and it's a bit irritating when I'm working in a dark room. This way, I can choose a soothing color or leave it in it's muli-color state. It has various settings and the lights have different motion modes to choose from. I prefer the slow sweeping motion. One thing that I had no clue about, even though I read it before buying it is the low profile keys. I am not a fan of this. There is no room for error with this type of keyboard. So, for those who are not aware, it means that the keys are not as high as a regular keyboard and the distance for the key to travel, when pressed, is much less than the typical keyboard. So, this means you can barely touch a key and that letter will pop up on your screen immediately. So, for example, if I mean to strike the letter "J" and I slightly touch the "H", both letters will show up! This creates so many typos. I have long fingers and they tend to travel more, so the likelihood of me accidentally touching other keys is high. So, if you are not precise in your key strokes, the low profile keyboard may not be for you. I do however like that this keyboard does not clickety clack like the previous gaming back-lit keyboard I had. OMG, it was atrocious all the noise I would make, while working at night. This one is fairly quiet and I really like that. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. I can't give any less of a score than 5 stars. The low profile does what it's supposed to do, which is take less time and effort to press a key for a result. I simply didn't know what that meant in terms of practical work usage. I would suspect this keyboard would be gamers heaven. Oh! It also has a usb port on the back of the keyboard where you can plug in your mouse, if that's something you would like. I personally use it for a small USB-C cable for my phone. You still have to plug in the additional usb cable that is on the keyboard, to the back of your computer, so you can have connection/power to to the USB port @ the back of the keyboard, as you can see in the pictures.

Perfect keyboard for gamers and everyday users.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I’ve been using this keyboard for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! It came with replacement WASD and QWERDF keys. The tool provided with the keyboard made it easy to remove and replace the factory keys with the higher and textured WASD/QWERDF keys. The A, W, and D keys have higher ends to make it comfortable with finger placements. The color of the lights are great! I love how it has three light profiles - spiral rainbow, rain, and rainbow wave. These lights illuminate the keys well in day, as well as the night. I really like how the keyboard has a built-in volume wheel scroll. This makes it so much easier to adjust the volume. Before I had the keyboard, I had to either reach out to my external speaker to lower it down, or open up the volume setting and adjust it on the computer. The wheel makes it much easier to accurately adjust the amount of sound you want to be heard. The keyboard seems to be well made and the cable is nice and thick so you know it won’t get worn out easily. This keyboard is great for gamers and everyday users. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend this to other gamers and everyday users.

Great quality gaming keyboard!
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5as a membrane keyboard user (logitech/microsoft) because they were cheaper in price. i decided to check this one out and after checking out reviews i made my decision and got this one since it was also on sale. this is my first gaming mechanical keyboard, i already had corsair's mouse and mouse pad. so i decided to complete the look with this keyboard. the noise this keyboard makes when i type or game doesn't bother me. but others might feel different. this keyboard comes with a detachable wrist support and it also comes with textured performance keycaps and puller for those that game or just want a different look. and yes! it requires 2 USB ports. you also will need to download corsair's iCUE software to customized this keyboard or to turn off the lights.

Amazing low profile and fast keyboard!!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5The keyboard is very fast compared to my old Logitech G15 keyboard that I replaced with this. In fact its too fast that I'm getting used to using it. When I'm typing it's great other then the spacing is different then my old keyboard too. For gaming it is fast and responsive where I don't have to press as hard as before. RGB lighting is awesome looking and love how you can customize it. The software is not the easiest to work with it isn't impossible either just need to play around with it. You can DL custom scripts so you don't have to mess with the customizing. On Corsairs site (forums) they have a couple of links to 2 customizing web sites. USB cable Is one cable but splits to 2 USB cables. I'm using this on a laptop which is already limited ports, but luckily I have a Sabrent 10 port USB hub. Rather not have that port used up for no reason. I use a Bluetooth mouse so I don't need the port behind the keyboard. But it's there if its needed. Why 4 stars? The software is taking some time to figure out and the USB passthrough. Other then that this is a great keyboard and would recommend it to anyone wanting a mechanical keyboard for gaming.

Best keyboard I've ever owned!
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Awesome keyboard, exactly what I was looking for. The keys feel nice and secure. Low profile keys make the keyboard look somewhat slim compared to other mechanical keyboards. Able to type very fast on this keyboard. Easy to use software for creating lighting profiles and setting up your color schemes. Would recommend this to everyone!

Pretty much perfect.
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Love almost everything about this. The keys are so fluid and smooth. The lights are awesome. I just don't like the wrist pad.. it could be slightly larger and the center of the keyboard is not where you hands line up. So you have to have the keyboard offset by a margin and then your left hand sort of falls off.. I love it but wish it was balanced with some sort of keys on the left side to provide a square look on your desk.

Overall a decent keyboard with some neat RGB
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5I purchased this board to replace the one that came with my PC from CyberPower. The old board was fine it just wouldn't recognize certain (and vital) button combinations which made certain games very difficult. This board has no issues with anything like that. The RGB is, of course, a very nice feature and the customization you have with the profiles is impressive. Be aware that they are VERY low-profile keys which are VERY SENSITIVE and can be pretty annoying at times as I tend to fat-finger things all the time (space bar now included). However, I would recommend this board when on sale if you are into the low-profile keys. I see myself changing this out for a similar version without the short bois on it soon though.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Love this keyboard. Returned a blackwidow elite for it because I was having disconnection issues during gameplay. This low profile keyboard sounds wonderful, not loud, installed dampeners behind it to make it sound even more silent. RGB is great! Love the colors!

Q: QuestionIs internet connectivity required to install and maintain the configuration or can the installation and drivers be downloaded and installed on an off line computer?
Asked by Hoyt.
- A:Answer There are a few built-in profiles, but to get the full utility of the lighting software, iCue, they must be downloaded from the Corsair Website. If you just want it to light up, that can be done offline. If you want to have full personalization, you’re going to need internet.
