I bought this mouse for $20 and for that price I think it was a steal. The mouse is solid for my every day use but also has style and features that the gamer in me appreciates. At a quick glance, the M55 RGB PRO is more traditional looking than most gaming mice. It is smooth and symmetrical (meaning both sides are the same if you cut it down the middle) so it will work great for both left and right handers. Tip: to switch to left handed mode (without using software), hold the 2 left side buttons for 5 seconds and wait for 3 flashes of the Corsair logo light. To switch back to right handed mode, hold the 2 right side buttons for 5 seconds. The mouse is plug-and-play on my Windows 10 computer. I just had to plug one end of the 6ft braided USB cable into an available USB 2.0 or 3.0 port and the mouse was ready to go. However, to take full advantage of all the features the mouse has to offer, I had to download and install the iCUE software from Corsair's web site. With it, I was be able to customize buttons, LED lights and travel sensitivity (dpi). The software can be frustrating hard to use at first but I stuck with it and reaped the benefits. The mouse is lightweight and fit comfortably in my medium adult hand. The button clicks felt responsive and effortless. The wheel was quiet and did not rattle. The side grips are textured plastic that I actually prefer over rubber that tend to scratch and get dirty easily. On the top side of the mouse, just below the wheel is a small DPI LED indicator light and below that, a DPI button for cycling through 3 to 5 sensitivity presets that can be customized in the software. Going from using wireless mice for a couple of decades, I had concerns about the cable getting in the way of movements but I had not noticed any tuck or pull from the flexible cable. Overall, I have been every happy with the M55 RGB PRO.

Size: Ideal for a mid sized hands. Can easily access the side and buttons provided on the inner side. Clicks: Gives a good feel for both left and right clicks. DPI: Decent for a new gamer. Overall a satisfying experience.

This mouse is a great size with ambidextrous forwards and backwards buttons that are configurable in the Corsair software that toggles which side the buttons work for right and left handed people. Out of the box the DPI switch has a wide range across the 5 presets but this is configurable in the software along with rgb logo.
