+ Fast rated clock speeds.
+ Easy to set XMP speeds @ 2933Mhz OC on Ryzen platform (if you're motherboard supports it)
+ Reliable performance
+ Pretty lights
- Requires another third-party program (Corsair Link) to be installed to set the RGB options for anything other than default Rainbow
- Can be tricky to get working properly on some Ryzen platform motherboards at rated speeds other than default speed of 2133MHz (this is more a limitation of individual motherboards, BIOS firmware and the still maturing Ryzen platform than a fault of the RAM itself)
Tried to run this set of RAM at XMP speeds @ 2933MHz on my first motherboard, the Gigabyte AORUS X370 Gaming K5, and it wouldn't post at any speed besides 2133MHz. After failing to run two sets of RAM at supported XMP profiles (I tried a set of PNY Anarchy-X RAM @ 3200MHz), I decide to RMA that board and purchase an ASUS Prime X370-A motherboard. I'm glad to report this RAM runs solid and fast on that motherboard with a Ryzen 1600 CPU with no issues. The RGB is a cool feature, that whilst unnecessary does look neat in my clear panel case. Using the Corsair Link program I can choose from many RGB options. Only downside is that you have to use that program to set the option, when most motherboards support some sort of native RGB functions already. Also, couldn't seem to find anything other than solid red color, but couldn't make it pulse or breath one solid color, just in different colors FYI. The RAM's RGBs still stay lit when computer is in sleep mode so if your rig is in a room where people sleep, you may want to fully shut your computer down when you go to sleep instead of letting the computer go into Sleep mode. All minor quibbles and not enough to knock a star. Again, very pleased with this product and loving it in my new build!
