Q: How long does a typical dual-camera installation take?
A: They quoted 1.5 hours to install my front and rear cameras with hardwire kit. It took about 1 hour 15 minutes. A good job too. The wires can't be seen behind the trim.
A: The cost to install the front and rear camera with hardwire kit in my small SUV was $99.99 + tax at the time that I write this. The hardwiring kit was not included with the dash cam, but I was also gifted the separate hardwiring kit made for my dash cam by the same manufacturer. (Generic kits are available, apparently.) The maker advertises that the hardwiring kit has a sensor to prevent so much battery drain that you won't be able to start your car. We'll see about that. Best Buy did not set up the phone app for me. I had to do that myself, but it wasn't hard even for tech-challenged me.

When I had my front and rear cameras with hardwire kit installed, they charged me $99.99 + tax under the similar "SKU 6476152 Dashcam with Separate Rear Window Camera Installation". Don't know the difference between the two SKUs. I'm sure that availability depends on your store. I had many of the same questions that you see here, so I went into the store to schedule in-person rather than online. I went in 4 days after Christmas, a busy time, and they scheduled me for 6 days later.
A: I received my dash cam and hardwire kit as a gift from Amazon and the installation included the whole setup. They did not ask me where it came from.
