A: I can confirm the bleed through issue is NOT fixed as of late April '21. I thought I had a defective unit until I started reading some of the online AV forums. Inexcusable that a company like Denon would ship with this issue. Either they didn't test the products prior to ship, or they shipped with knowledge of the issue. Neither scenario is acceptable.
A: Yes, the Denon AVR-X3700H features HDMI dual-zone switching for watching video content from different sources in two zones simultaneously. This can be accomplished by running HDMI zone 2 to the outdoor TV and running Zone 2 speaker out to the 2 outdoor speakers. (Configuration done in setup menu) Connect the HDMI Monitor 1 to the indoor TV and all your main speakers to the proper speaker terminals.
Q: Will this send audio to wireless speakers?
A: It depends on what you mean by wireless speakers. You can use wireless modules to transmit audio to surround speakers. You can also use the AVR's Bluetooth Transmit feature to send audio to a Bluetooth speaker or a set of Bluetooth headphones. The AVR is not capable of sending Surround info to HEOS / Denon Home speakers to be used as wireless Surround channels.
Q: Does it work with Amazon HD music app?
A: Yes, you can access Amazon Music HD through HEOS. If you cast from the Amazon Music app on another device to HEOS, you are limited to 44.1khz/16bit FLAC. If you play music from within the HEOS app on another device (you can log into your Amazon account within the HEOS app), you can play hi-res music files.
A: We have Sony XR80J OLED 120Hz and the Denon AVR X3700H, with Klipsch 504C center channel and R120 sub. No problems at all. We had the Denon AVR X4700H, and returned it due to overheating. Gaming console needs to be connected to either HDMI port 2 or 4, the only two that support HDMI 2.1, otherwise you are stuck with 60 Hz on the Denon. Most compatible with newer consoles like Xbox Series X or PS5.
Q: Denon AVR 3700H support 11 channel but can it play any 9 channel withiout external amplifier
A: Hello, that is correct. The Denon AVR-X3700H is equipped with 9 channels of amplification and 11 channels of processing with the addition of an external amplifier.
A: Dynamic volume in the Audyssey set up will help with the different volume levels. The amount of Dynamic volume control can also be adjusted.
A: This receiver will take care of the IMAX enhanced DTS encoding so you don't need to worry about your TV affecting sound. Not all TV's are IMAX Enhanced for the image processing.
