Q: What store will this preorder be on? Hoping it’s redeemable on steam
A: According to the description of this listing on the Bethesda store, it will be redeemable only on the Bethesda Launcher: https://gear.bethesda.net/products/doom-eternal-collectors-edition#imageThumb "The PC Version of the game will come with a printed code and the code is redeemable on Bethesda.net." Although this is the collector's edition, I'm sure this applies to the standard edition as well.
Q: Does this use the Bethesda launcher or Steam?
A: The physical copies ship with a code for the Bethesda launcher.
Q: Will this include a dvd, or will it just be a code for Bethesda launcher / Steam?
A: Game code for Bethesda launcher
A: You can play offline, there is a campaign mode. The main difference between the versions include extra skins/weapons etc. and the higher end versions have goodies. Other than that, the game is pretty much the same. If you are a big fan, go for the extra’s, depending on your budget!
Q: Is there a disc included? (I know about the code)
A: no disc.
Q: do you need a cd drive or is it going to be a case with the code inside?
A: Anyone saying you will need a CD drive is incorrect. The Physical copies of the game will ship with a printed code for the BethesdaNet launcher, you will redeem and download the game VIA the stated launcher.
