A: you just use the USB cable that comes with it and plug it into a PC or USB power charger

A: it has a battery strength indicator on it. it goes from red to fully blue when charged. the blue light also has a sliding indicator to leg you know how much power is left.

A: I get a full charge in 30 to 40 minutes :) maybe even faster if I would leave my phone alone.
Q: how long does it hold a charge?
A: I can get a couple of charges out of it, charges relatively quick. Not as fast as wall charger but gets the job done.
Q: Will this charge an iPhone 3Gs?
A: Yes, this will charge a IPhone, provided you use the IPhone compatible USB cord.

A: Yes, it can charge a NOOK that has a micro USB plug.
Q: How does your device connect to this charger ?
A: Life saver!!! Love love love it! Great price for a great product! you use a cord, like what you use to charger your phone. It comes with a 3 inch cord. Plug the usb end into the charger and plug the mirco usb into your phone. That is it. It charges very fast.
Q: Can this be taken on a plane
A: As of 2008, the FAA no longer permits larger (over 2g) lithium batteries in checked baggage. This is due to the increased risk of explosion or other malfunction. Smaller, consumer grade electronics powered by lithium batteries are safe and permissible for use. This product falls under those guidelines and can be taken on a plane.
