I purchased this portable battery charger for emergency charges for my old Droid phone. At first, the battery (although I charged it fully ahead of time) did not charge the phone more than 25% of the way.... I figured at least in an emergency tht would be good enough. However, I decided to try it again... I charge the portable battery up again and then ran my phone down (not hard to do... it was ALWAYS running out of battery) and to my surprise... the portable battery charger charged my phone COMPLETELY!!!! Although I only used the portable battery charger twice (read review) I thought it was a good backup in an emergency and I paid WAY LESS than my wireless phone company wanted to charge for, basically, the same thing.

For just over $20 I never have to worry about my battery running out. I can charge it while I sleep, pop it in my purse in the morning and I'm good to go all day. If my phone battery is running low, I plug it in and keep working! Great!

I have three of these batteries. I keep one by the back door, so when I head out to the pool, I can juice up my phone and not lose a call or text because my phone died. I keep one in my purse, and one as an "always ready" on my desk, swapping them out as I need them. Excellent value, quick to charge, I was the envy of EVERYONE at the hospital waiting room this week, as phones were dying all around my (thank goodness it was JUST the phones), but I had my handy dandy charger and all the battery life I needed to make those happy phone calls.

I love this charger!!! It's saved me from having a dead phone many times!!! When I'm on trips and there's no plug in is the best, it brings my phone back to full battery!!

I bought this to take on a 7 day cruise. Works great!!! Stays charged a long time. It charges phones and tablets faster than I thought it would. Great buy for the price.

I'm very happy with this product. It charges my phone fast and charges itself fast.It's the perfect size to fit in my purse. Great for travelers.

I found these on sale around Christmas time. I bought one for 3 people and one for myself! I love the idea of having something to charge my phone if I find myself without a typical power source (electrical or car) I have it all charged up in my purse whenever I might need it! I haven't actually needed it yet, but I like knowing I have it in case. I will update my review once I have used it!

I had not seen this size Dynex charger before, but had to buy it because of the extra power. Great portable size and can charge your phone faster than charging from a brick. Super Buy.

I saw this item as I was checking out and inquired about it with the register agent. He mentioned it was a great product and seemed to be a popular one, as well. I needed something like this for future travel. I've been testing it out in the meantime and it works well. The only downside it that it won't charge an electronic much more than 35%-50% of capacity. However, it's plenty to get a person by until they can get to a plug-in.

I bought this product because I sometimes find myself needing a charge when walking in the park or the beach. I like the fact that I don't have to stress out that my battery on my device will soon go dead. When I only have 10% battery life I charge it on this personal charger. It is only good for one full charge though. I don't mind that at all.

I bought this because, unfortunately, my phones can't hold a charge for a whole day. I don't recall how long it takes for this thing to fully charge, but it charges your phone/device up pretty quickly. I think I saw these on the Black Friday ads coming up soon, so I would definitely recommend this as a stocking filler. You can't go wrong with more battery for your phone/device!

I bought this before going to Ireland as I knew I'd be needing it for my Samsung phone. With all of my photo taking, I knew my battery would run out. It's good for the price, but it didn't charge the phone all the way up to full power. It's still a great little compact powerhouse, though.

I only purchased this because there was a deal for buying 3 phone accessories. I am so glad I did. I never knew I needed one of these, but now I can't imagine not having it. Works great. Charges fast and one charge charges my iPhone 6 from dead to almost full. I use it on the go and even in my house when I don't want to be tethered to the wall.

I had just started a new job and realized that I could charge at home and in the car with no worries, but I was depleting my battery so much at work and while on the go, that it was taking forever to recharge my phone, once I was in the car or at home. Also, I was told initially I couldn't plug my iPhone into a USB on the work computer, and I wasn't climbing under the desk. So I thought this would be a perfect fit, because it could recharge itself at work, in the car and at home. Plus it can save my phone at work to recharge or when I am out an about away from outlets, so when I am near a normal recharge option, it takes less time. So far it works as expected. Only thing I added to using this, was I ordered a 6 inch lightning cord for my iPhone, because my OCD couldn't handle all of the cords all over my desk, between a normal lightning cord, the cord to charge this battery and my apple earphones. It charges quick, it lets you know when its full to stop recharging it by turning the LED green, which turns blue when charging a phone or turns red when recharging itself. So fixes my problem, plus it was on sale with the added use of a $5 BB GC, made my decision. Plus purple rocks.

I have not used or even opened yet since the connector does not fit my Samsung Galaxy S5 despite the description stating that it does, so I would have to use a connector cord I already have. I would recommend truth in advertising when making compatibility claims so as not to lead buyers on to encourage a purchase. I am hoping it will work with a substitute cord. Have delayed while I was trying to make a decision as to whether to keep since the price was very reasonable.

I like this battery very much. It is small and fits in my pocket. I have another battery of the same size but doesn't last quite as long. The only thing I don't like is the light stays on if I leave a cord plugged into it's USB after charging my phone.

Very nice and portable. Plus it really does work and it doesn't take that long to charge either. The USB port allows for all cellphone, iPod, iPad iPad, and other electronic accessories that have a USB cord to charge in a most efficient and rapid way. Thank God some invented this portable charge because I'm not always near a wall socket or a car charger. Very good to use when there are natural disasters or other emergencies arise and there's no electricity to keep a cellphone charged. This product should be put in survival kits and the Red Cross should implement its use. This product may save someone's life some day due to keeping the lines of communication on and open.

this was a very good buy on sale -- I use it primary to charge my iPhone when out and about. Charges fairly quickly and provides an added sense of security when I've forgotten to charge phone the night before

This is great for emergencies you just have to remember to have your cord with you at all times I have an iPhone 6+ so it did not fully charge it but it was great until I got to an outlet. I really love the color selection.

Love this product....great for when travelling. It's not bulky so it fits easily in your pocket. It fully charged a 3GS iphone and still had more charged left. Haven't tried it on the iphone 6 + as yet bec the battery gets me through for the day so I haven't needed it as yet.
