I looked at a lot of reviews before seeing this model, still looked but did not want to buy throwaway clipper.... so I bought this brand and model. I am very pleased with it, it is a complete kits with all the guards oil case and such, so if you are looking for a great clipper set and a good value , buy it you will love it

This replaced an older Wahl clipper. Good quality and value. My only complaint is related to packaging - when it arrived the clippers had bounced around in the case so much that I had to realign the blades.
I would recommend this to a friend

Been cutting my own hair for a while now. Been through about 4 different sets of clippers. This by far is the best quality I have purchased. Very happy with this purchase.

This worked like a charm. Didn't snag in my hair at all (which a lot of clippers tend to do) and comes with a lot of accessories. If you want a good clippers without breaking the bank get this!

- Answer It definitely prolongs the life of the clippers to clean after each use and oil monthly. I have had Wahl clippers that I’ve neglected for half a year or more and they still perform well, though, so it’s totally up to you.
