Q: Can this project onto a black screen?
A: Hello Regs. Black screens are designed to enhance contrast in environments with high ambient light. However, since the projector only has 1000 lumens, we wouldn’t recommend using it in such bright settings. If the lights are turned off or the room is made completely dark, a black screen isn’t necessary since the image can look dim or washed out in low light. Big performance from an all in one device
I was very surprised by this all in one device. What attracted me to this projector was the built in speaker, brightness, and smart features. A little pricey, but well worth the expense. The unit was packaged incredibly well and was easy to setup right out of the box. For the most part I let the machine just do its thing with auto focus and calibration, the only minor tweaks I did was to the brightness. I have yet to find a screen that fits the relatively small space, so for now I am projecting onto a white wall, no issues with clarity but a screen would provide a matte flat white surface as opposed to a textured wall. Sound is perfect for the room where the projector is, I imagine anything larger than a bedroom would require the use of an external speaker which could connect via Bluetooth. I’ve connected a Switch to the projector and the video games I’ve played so far look great with no lag. Overall incredibly happy with my purchase.

The Ultimate Compact Home Theater Experience!
I cannot rave enough about the Epson EpiqVision Mini EF-22! This little powerhouse has completely transformed my movie nights. The picture quality is crisp, vibrant, and surprisingly sharp even on a large wall and the built-in Android TV makes streaming effortless. No need for extra devices or messy cords. The sound quality is impressive for such a compact device, and the portability means I can take it from the living room to the backyard or even on weekend trips. Whether you’re watching Netflix, YouTube, or casting from your phone, it’s seamless and fast. Setup took less than 5 minutes, and it looks sleek and modern in any space. Great portable family projector
Perfect portable projector. Was considering a large TV for a spare room, got this instead. So much more versatile. Having a swivel stand is ingenious. Pros: great picture, extremely quiet, does not get hot, has great sound from built in speakers. Cons: Google Play interface is terribly slow and sluggish, Must have a very dark room to use,
