Q: Is this device able to be used while meat cooks in a hot oven
A: Yes, I used it in the oven for a meat. Had the oven at 450 degrees and waited until the inside temp reached 160 for a pork loin. Came out great!
Q: Can this be used for any foods? Breads, other baked goods? Candy?
A: Yes! Using the custom temperature alert feature, you can set an alarm to go off at any desired temperate.
A: Yes it can also measure the temperature of the oven.
