Q: Can you enter multiple destinations?
A: Yes, this device includes the Trip Planner feature that can be used to create and save a trip with multiple stops. Or if you only want to “shape” a custom route to go the way you prefer; the device has a Shaping Points feature also.
Q: since this uses satilite, how does that work? what do they install for that to work?
A: No, the device it’s ready to go right out of the box, nothing additional is needed. Thanks, James
Q: How long will the battery last when it isn't plugged into a charger?
A: There is no limit when connected to an external power source. When on battery only the battery life is up to 1 hour from a full charge.
Q: Is a smart phone required to obtain traffic information?
A: No it does not require a smart phone it warns you at about 1 mile that was a warning I received once. It did help to let me know that. Just use caution when you get that warning traffic was stopped on the highway about a mile ahead of me. The warning just said traffic.
Q: Does this model have "voice directions" or do I have to constantly look at the screen?
