A: It is compatible with sensors that transmit with ANT. The Garmin HRM, cadence sensor and speed sensors communicate with ANT and are compatible, as well as a slew of other manufacturers. The bluetooth that is used is ONLY for connecting to a bluetooth enabled smart phone.
