Q: Ok I need some advice. Where the regulator attaches to the grill, there is an opening on the tube. Is this correct or should the tube in the grill be closed? It doesn’t look right. I haven’t tried it yet. It seems that the propane will escape.

A: This is normal. the hole is for air to enter to mix with the propane.

Q: Would you recommend for the beach? Can it be placed on the sand? If not, what would you place it on? Thanks!

A: I would place it on a small piece of 1/4" plywood, just to keep the sand out of it.

A: Yes it needs propane.

Portable grill
Compact, easy to set up and use. Grates are reversible for a griddle surface and also removable for easy cleanup. The grill can easily adjusts on angle for the liquid to drain into drip pan. You may not get the grill taste like you would with a more conventional grill.but you will have more cooking surface than a table top grill. This has been a great addition to the motor home

great little grill
This is the second one of these that I have purchased. It's a great little griddle/grill. The flame doesn't blow out in a pretty good wind like another style we had. The one weak point that I had with my old one, is the gas line from the regulator is in a location that makes it vulnerable to being broken off. The regulator is designed for a small propane cylinder to attach, and you have to use an adapter to use a 20 lb propane tank with it. Nothings perfect, but this is very nice. I love it. five stars.

Wonderful grill
I bought this grill to replace one that wouldn't stay lit in the wind. So far this one stays lit in a pretty good wind. The temperature is uniform, and plenty hot on high. So far we have done steaks, hamburgers, french toast, and pancakes, and all were wonderful.
