    Great Keyboard made even better!

I have a lot of custom keyboards (GMMK 2, GMMK Pro, Keychron Q2 Max, Wooting HE60, Wooting Two HE, and a few others... + many over-the-counter keyboards like Razer, Corsair, and Asus. This one is my favorite overall! It has a tremendous amount of customization (I was only somewhat interested in this). It supports MX and HE switches or a combination of both. The build quality and feel are unrivaled. Wireless works well but I'm using it wired. Stock Fox HE switches are lubed and sound great! 8k polling option My only Cons are the price is pretty high so I bumped the value down to 4 Stars. The software is still in its infancy and is a little buggy. That will improve with time. It does offer everything needed to take advantage of the capabilities of this amazing keyboard.

    Glorious is an understatement

The GMMK 3 PRO HE 75% Wireless Hall-Effect Linear, IMHO, is the pinnacle of gaming keyboards. What Glorious has put together in this "Pro" 75% foot print keyboard is nothing short of amazing. From the moment you unbox this beast, you'll notice immediately that it is heavy as an anvil. Some people may not like that but I prefer weighty construction over the more typical lightweight and sometimes cheap feeling gaming keyboard offering these days. Is this a keyboard you'll eagerly want to throw in a backpack and take to your next LAN party or friends home? Probably not... but portability isn't my thing and I'll take that "built like a tank" feeling every day of the week. Before one gets to the stage of tweaking the actuation settings or messing around with the color palette, there will still be this mesmerizing effect of taking in the default Glorious lighting scheme and the typing experience. These Glorious keys are the best I've ever laid my fingers on. They are consistent across the entire board and have an inexplicable feel to them, a smooth travel sound and excellent key caps too. Inside the control center app are a broad selection of light effects I would call excellent and some of the best offered as a grouping of "built ins". Being a multi-functional keyboard, you have the ability to use the onboard 2.4 GHz connectivity, blue tooth (chosen with a slider switch) or a hard wired arrangement - with the included USB-A to USB-C braided cable. The included cable isn't the typical coiled Glorious offering but it is still top quality. As with their other GMMK Pro offerings, there is a rotary dial/switch which is smooth and precise. One thing worth mentioning and I don't consider it a short-fall is that this keyboard has one angle of orientation. In other words, there are no selectable legs underneath - so you'll either like the somewhat low-profile aspect of the orientation or you won't. For me, it's perfect - but everyone is different - so know that going in! All-in-all, the build quality of the GMMK 3 PRO HE 75% Wireless Hall-Effect Linear is simply the best of the best and hits all the right "notes" for my particular taste in gaming keyboards. Moving to the Glorious Core software, you will find everything you need to customize the RGB look and actuation response + macro like functions. From what I can tell, the actuation response of these linear switches is consistent across the adjust-ability range - dare I say - in a "linear" fashion. This is my second experience with customizable actuation points and previously (on a competitors keyboard...) I wasn't much impressed. Not so with this keyboard. It works amazingly well and everyone should find a good 'set point' for their preferred selection of keys. I found my preferred actuation point a little quicker than the default but not too aggressive and set this way, I enjoy typing on this keyboard much more than on my GMMK Pro 3 - which is tethered to my primary, gaming/productivity machine - or had been until now. For those demanding some of the most advanced key binding controls available, you will certainly not be disappointed in what the GMMK 3 PRO HE 75% offers in the app. Highlighting the RGB functionality, there is a diffusion plane surrounding the switch bodies that looks amazing without producing a lot of distracting 'hot spots'. There are light strips on the left & right sides of the keyboard frame that look great too and can be programmed to provide feedback - like caps-lock being engaged. I do like that fact that you can change to a Glorious coiled cable or one of a different brand with USB-C termination. And another mind blowing bonus Glorious included with this "kit" are single samples of 4 of their other Glorious HE switches; Fox HE (smooth linear with creamy sound), Lynx HE (smooth linear with marbly sound), Panda HE (rounded tactile with a thocky sound) and finally Raptor HE (clicky sound & feel). More mfg's should offer this type of switch introduction, considering what keyboard are costing now days and I'm not surprised one-bit that Glorious added this touch. For those that simply want the best, this keyboard is totally flexible and does it all - - and is probably the one keyboard I can confidently say is worth every penny. Pros: Solid, heavy & dense construction with absolutely no structural resonances Excellent lighting diffusion plane and crisp key cap shine-through The key caps are perfect - but that is totally subjective Removable USB cable - USB-C connection point. Yes!!! Up to 8K polling rate and as low as 2 ms response time control Rapid Trigger, Customizable Actuation Point & Dynamic Keystroke + Advanced key binding capability Sample switches included for those eager to move to something different - down the road Well designed/laid out Glorious Core control center app Cons: Absolutely none! I am truly struggling to find anything this keyboard design left off the table!

    Premium highly customizable gaming keyboard

I've been a fan of the Glorious keyboards and mice for a while. The Glorious HE is my 4th from them and my first was actually a GMMK barebones that I selected switches, keycaps and cord from a variety that they manufacturer. I've dabbled with changing switches and keycaps on a full size but the others are 75% TKL (ten keyless... aka no numpad). The smaller size appeals to me when I game as it provides more real estate for my mouse. While the Glorious mice are extremely lightweight and fast the keyboards tend to be heavy. The GMMK 3 Pro HE is a heavy weight at almost 3 1/2 lbs. I'm not complaining since it tends to plant itself firmly on the desk and doesn't tend to move around like a lighter keyboard might. If you need a keyboard to toss in your backpack then you might consider something else but as far as a desktop keyboard goes it is a great form factor and weight for daily use. What sets the HE apart from most of the pack is the use of Hall Effect switches rather than traditional ones. Hall Effect switches use magnetic sensors to know when the key is pressed. They provide a responsive and smooth operation. Paired with the Glorious Core software you gain a fully customizable typing and gaming experience. Glorious Core's performance settings allow you to switch polling rates between 1000Hz to 8000Hz and Input Latency between 2ms to 16ms for a extremely responsive action. Actuation with Rapid Trigger is where the Pro HE shines. In Global mode you can change all keys at once for actuation points and press and release sensitivity for a very quick response. In Per Key mode you can customize each key for your play style... like W-A-S-D and space bar for example. Very slick providing a level of performance not seen in most keyboards. Lighting is always a must for me. I really love that there is per key lighting customization. While I tend to go with subdued backlighting while I game in low light, I do also appreciate being able to closely match the RGB in my case for a cool aesthetic. Glorious Core allows you to select different provided color themes or create your own. The Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE is also modular so you can do a lot of customization. What I truly love is that this keyboard offers dual hot swap feature which allows you to switch between magnetic and mechanical switches. Glorious offers a lot of varieties of switches and the Pro HE comes with a sampling of different switches (1 of each of a few of the most popular) that you can try for yourself to see which best suits your style and preference. It comes default with Glorious Fox HE linear magnetic switches and I'm hoping that they will offer the Pro HE with different switch variations so you won't need to buy several packs of switches to swap out for your preference. It takes standard keycaps so you can get from Glorious or a multitude of different providers. Just Google search keycaps and you know what I'm talking about. There are some very creative keycaps available including custom one of a kind. While I'm a Windows guy I do appreciate that Glorious included Apple specific Option and Cmd keys for the MacOS folks. The keyboard also comes with a few other items to help you tweak it. It has a modular gasket system with several extra gasket modules included in an accessory box. There is a keycap puller and a switch puller included in the box. If you like to take total control of your keyboard then this is the one for you as long as you don't mind coughing up $370. Glorious products are premium and cost more than most but with the full modular design, dual hot swap switches and amazing Core software then you can probably justify the cost. Heck, my first GMMK DIY barebones kit cost $350 so the cost didn't scare me away.
