A: The answer to your question by CommunityAnswer is WRONG. The Verizon Pixel 2 XL is not locked to Verizon. The Verizon version does have a locked bootloader, but that doesn't stop you from using it on another network. CommunityAnswer user, you need to do better research before posting. Nothing worse than posting absolutely incorrect information.
Q: Does refurbished phone still have factory warranty?
A: It comes with a 90 day warranty from Best Buy from what my device shows.

A: Google sends out the security updates for the device. Not Verizon. The Pixel 2 XL is unlocked and can work with any carrier. Even the Verizon variant.
