Does this battery ever die?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Y'all, I am so impressed with this Pixelbook. I brought it on a cruise with me thinking I would use it for Gmail and Google Docs on and off, but then ended up quarantined in my cabin for the final day....and I have watched two entire baseball games, played every offshoot of Wordle you've ever heard of and then some, sent hours and hours worth of facebook messages, and I'm still nowhere near a low battery! I thought a day in quarantine would be massively boring, but I'm living the life on a balcony with a laptop I never need to charge. I would recommend this to anyone who understands what a Chromebook is. As long as you don't expect to be able to download programs, it's the best thing ever. (Seriously, 99% of programs you would download are not compatible with the ChromeOS. If you need anything specific that is not browser-based, this is not the device for you.) The one downside is it has slightly tinny speakers compared to some fancier laptops. It's not problematic when there's white noise (like, say, ocean waves in the background), but I do notice it when there's silence. The battery estimate photo is not indicative of heavy video usage day, that was from a day where I used Google Docs and nothing else. But seriously this battery life is like nothing I've ever encountered.

Great partner compliment for my pixel phone!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Love everything about it! except how it absorbs prints on touch screen and it's outer magnesium body and not having bluetooth 5.0 only 4.2 . But no deal breaker best chromebook i've owned after owning 2 previous chromebooks. Price is some what expensive should've cost 500.00 to 550.00 but with Titan security chip & updates till 2026 with magnesium build & feel not plastic it's worth it's price rather have good quality very pleased & content with purchase!

Excellent for my child’s virtual schooling
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Computer is great, but it’s very hard connecting accessories such as the pen, mouse and headset. We manage to get the headset working after many tries, but so far not the pen and mouse. But all-in-all great purchase.

Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Purchased the Google Pixelbook Go for my 6th grader July of 2020 and it's been working out great for at home learning this fall. She uses Chrome books at school so was familiar with how they operate. This is my first experience & I love it too. When she's not using it, I use it for web browsing, emails, Netflix and have even created a few spreadsheets. Was surprised how amazing the sound was that comes from two speakers on each side of the keyboard. The images on the screen are great too, my MacBook Air looks better of course but for just over $600 it's perfect. The keyboard is super responsive and comfortable to type. Love the light weight also as I hold it on my lap when not at my desk. Battery life lasts me all day, have never had an issue running out of juice. Looking for a printer that's compatible right now, my Brother Laser did not work with it and I bought an Anker adapter for the USB to C connection for some devices. Love it overall and would buy again for sure. :)

Huge fan
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. As the owner of a Pixelbook, I was disappointed with how fragile it is and how easy the back glass cracks. So I got a Pixelbook Go and was very happy. Slim, sell constructed and easy to use. In my eyes it had surpassed Pixelbook as bestchromebook. My only hope is that an 11-12” model is released as i love small laptops

Making adjustments
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. It is a hard transition from Desktop and Laptop to this new way to be social and stay plugged in. Especially when you are a senior. But I am moving forward and hope the wifi printer from Epson will get here.

Do not buy: Defective Hinge will break screen
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Do not buy. After 2 months, the hinge broke, which also damaged the screen. Google refuses to honor the warranty. A quick search shows that there are many, many people who had the exact same experience. Google is trying to avoid responsibility for its own defect.

Q: QuestionLooking to buy laptop that will be good for my sister that’s starting college is this a good buy?
Asked by Johnnie94.
- A:Answer Hi Johnnie94, I have the Pixelbook Go 13.3 TS Chromebook with the Intel i5 - 8GB - 128GB SSD. I was amazed how fast it was and what i could do on it. This unit will allow you to download Apps from the Google Play Store. I downloaded MS Word and Excel although Google Docs is an excellent word processing software too. Google also has fine presentation software also. The touch display screen is bright and clear and wide enough 16:9 aspect, so that two pages of a word document can be displayed at one time if so desired. Great for students. It features a center-placed trackpad, which is adjustable for sensitivity. The keys on the keyboard are backlit and can be adjusted for brightness level. Only an Android smart phone can connect through BT to lock the unit and turn it on, if you wish. It will also allow you to send and receive messages from your phone and, or Pixelbook. This Pixelbook does utilize the voice commands of the Google Assistant also. There are thousands of Apps at the Play Store, and in my opinion, this Chrome OS rivals Windows and Mac for productivity. Chrome OS is a simple easy to learn system. It is NOT bloated like Windows or Mac so a high end processor, RAM memory, or huge hard drive is not needed. Cloud backups is available. This is a sold unit for school-related productivity, note taking, and entertainment too. It is great for creating and editing word processing and spreadsheets, e-mail, and surfing the web for information. But it is NOT a gamer or able to do heavy graphics and photo editing. Hope this helps you. And good luck to your sister's college career.

Q: Questioncan you download Microsoft word or powerpoint on this device?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, but keep in mind it is the GOogle Play Store Android app version. FOr basic stuff in each Word, Excel and Powerpoint, it's fine. But if you're working outside of OneDrive for files, working with big powerpoints or want to do macros in Word, it's not that great.

Q: QuestionIs the display constructed with Gorilla glass?
Asked by rockhunter.
- A:Answer The Google specifications for the Pixelbook Go state that the display is constructed of Corning Concore Glass. Concore glass reputedly has similar hardness and durability qualities to Gorilla Glass, but the two Corning products are used differently. Gorilla Glass is used as an additional layer of glass which is laminated on top of the display panel, which results in a thicker display panel. Concore Glass however, is used as an integral part of the display panel; it comprises the top layer of the display panel, rather than a separate layer on top of the display. Using Concore Glass results in a thinner and lighter display panel. I hope that you find this information helpful. And if you are curious, the Pixelbook Go is really a great Chromebook!

Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The m3 and i5 are almost the same except the i5 is slightly better but most of the money that you pay when you get the i5 will be due to the 128gb ssd. Otherwise the m3 and i5 are very Similar.
