Selections are sparse sometimes, I fell in love with the TCL brand, but everyone is sold out of the model I wanted. I decided to go with the Hisense R8 because it still gave me the Alexa enabled feature I have grown to depend on, I wanted a Roku platform tv and the price was almost $350 cheaper and I'm tired of buying more expensive tvs. The picture doesn't seem as crisp as the TCL but for less than $600, it gives a pretty decent picture and sound.

Netflix is slow and tv freezes and restarts

I am used to ROKU and wanted a roku tv and this Hisense model was on sale. TV is ok and not great! I keep having some issues were Netflix is slow at times and other times it just freezes and the tv restarts on its own. It's done it more times than i would like, i've even had to push the reset button on the side of the tv. I've not contacted Hisense nor the geek squad. I really wanted the H9G but it's an android tv and it's out of stock. I can no longer return this tv. I guess the saying is true, you get what you pay for.

Please perform a factory reset on the television. To perform a factory reset, navigate to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset, and then highlight Factory reset everything. Read the information on the screen to make sure you understand what this reset operation does. To proceed with the full factory reset, use the on-screen number pad to enter the code displayed on the screen, and then select OK to proceed. When the factory reset operation completes, the TV restarts and displays the first Guided Setup screen. If this does not resolve the issue please give us a call at 1-888-935-8880 or email us at service@hisense-usa.com.

Q: QuestionWhat is the distance between stand feet? Are there 2 positions to mount them in?

- A:Answer The TechRadar.com review of this tv (55R8F, 65R8F) states that "Setting up the TV is relatively easy, and Hisense has thankfully included options for both a narrow and wide footprint, depending on your preferences and furniture. They (the feet/legs) can be installed closer to the middle of the display, or out towards the edges, depending on the size of your TV stand or entertainment center." I've got a 65 inch Hisense tv myself (not the same model) and it seems like most of the larger models have an option to use this feature. Just my 2 cents
