A: Bought my refurbished ProBook a few weeks ago and am very happy with it. Looks new and performs well. If you want to save some cash, this is the way to go. Do read other user reviews to make sure it's the right laptop for you. Since it is factory re-conditioned, I have no hesitation purchasing mine and have been happy so far. The one thing I did was powering it up at the store just to make sure it works.

A: Nothing like answering my own question. I'm sorry I had asked this question. I should have read the specs before I asked. So for anyone who wants to know, the answer is yes. I have used refurbished products before without any problems--one was a Dell Latitude Laptop and this message is being written on an HP refurbished desktop with i7 core. I haven't ordered the HP 640 computer yet but I'm sure it will be fine. I would recommend this to friends.
