Q: What year was this model manufactured?
A: This was released this year.
A: $1600
Q: Why is this substantially more expensive than the newer 17 inch omen that just came out?
A: This model was more of an "oh look at what we can do with this" and they made it really good and the newer model was downgraded a bit to make it more affordable..the graphics card on this one is alittle liwer but in my opinion, if you want quality, I'd spend the extra money and get this due to its higher quality.
