Enjoy your favorite shows on this 14-inch HP Stream laptop. The BrightView panel boosts the clarity of videos for an enhanced viewing experience, and the Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM facilitate smooth streaming and internet browsing. This HP Stream laptop has 64GB of internal storage for media and other files.
A: The HP STREAM works well for Internet browsing. Because of the rather modest SSD (64 GB), minimize the files stored on the drive to just the operating system (Windows 10) and necessary apps. Store everything else on the micro SD or on an USB flash memory device (the STREAM has 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 ports.) Leave room on the SSD for Windows updates. Clear temporary files, downloads and old versions of the operating system from the SSD to help maximize space. Comes with one year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 so your note taking and report writing should be covered for the first year. The machine is reasonably fast, battery works a long time between charging (good to take to class), and is light weight. Good luck on your academic career.
Q: Can I run Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and Premmiere?
A: Yes, you can run Adobe products on this laptop.
A: Not at all.. It is pretty good.. Haven’t gone through all the functions yet.. Very good computer for the price..
A: You have to turn off S mode probably to download or run any app outside of Microsoft
A: It should work well with game streaming. Most are quite surprised at the quality.
Q: Is this laptop touch screen
A: No, this model is not touch screen.
Q: I’ll need a wireless printer to be compatible with this laptop. What would be good?
A: I bought the wireless Brother laser printer and it works aces with this HP Stream.
Q: Can I use word, excel and PPT wit this computer?
A: Yes, I have this laptop and it comes with a free one-year subscription to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. It's one of the very few laptops that comes with a full-year subscription, and that's the main reason I purchased this particular laptop. I use Microsoft Word and Excel just about everyday.
