Excellent for my RV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my Motor Home as a upgrade to a old analog TV I choose a Insignia 32 inch LED HDTV because of the light weight. I was unsure of Insignia because I was unfamiliar with the brand. I was told by the sales person that it was made for Best Buy. I am glad that I chose it. The picture is outstanding and the price was right.

I was unfamiliar with the name but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I came across this brand totally by accident! One night my living room television just took a dive on me. I immediately went to BestBuy, in search of a replacement. I should tell you that this was many years ago before flat screens were out! So the television I bought that night was a 32" with the enormous back and weighed a ton! In any event, I saw a pretty nice TV that I was interested in, but, hesitant to buy because I had never heard of the brand "Insignia". I found a salesperson and that was really the only question I wanted (needed!) an answer for. The picture quality was nice, the overall look was very nice but, that name.. it was a bit of a deterrent. Was it generic? Was it new? I couldn't get passed the unknown name, it was almost a deal breaker, in my mind. I wanted to go with the name brands I knew. Sony, Sharp, Toshiba, JVC.. ok, you get the point. But then I remembered back in the 70's taking a chance on a relatively unknown (at the time) brand called GoldStar. That TV lasted forever! It was a 12 or 13" black and white TV I had in my bedroom. So, I was starting to warn to the idea of this "Insignia" brand. So, I asked the one nagging question to the salesperson, "What, where or who owns this brand? I've never heard of it before!" It was then that I learned it was a brand exclusive to BestBuy, There you had it.. BestBuy's brand. I bought that first one and never looked back! That is typically my "go to" brand now. I purchased this flat screen, although I didn't need it. My rather large, clunky, weighty Insignia that I had purchased years before was still in working order (it now sits in my basement, covered with a horse blanket) but I found this one on sale one day and picked it up, figuring it was high time I got with the times and streamlined my television set!

Great buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv to replace my bedroom set that finally died. I am a big Samsung fan and have two in my home right now. I did not want to spend a lot of money on my bedroom tv and decided on this one after reading the positive reviews. I am thoroughly pleased with this tv. It has an excellent picture and it exceeded my expectations immensely. I am considering purchasing another for my spare bedroom. Happy customer and a fan of this Insignia television!!!

Great TV for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already bought a couple better samsung Smart TV's that will be viewed more often, but needed an additional mid size TV. This TV is great for the money, the picture quality is good for 1080 but does need to be viewed more straight on to the screen than toward the side otherwise it is dark and colors are not as good. I am happy with the sound and functions, was easy to connect and go with my cable box and I don't have issues with the box and TV competing for was resolution or size like I sometimes see with my Samsung. I can't stress it, for an additional TV this is the way to go because of the price and still getting a good quality TV that I feel will have a good life span.

Good TV for the value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is the perfect size and the picture is good for a second TV for a bedroom or other room. It is good for what we needed. For a few extra dollars if I was buying this again, I would have gone for the Smart TV model to add those additional features, but overall this is a great basic TV

Excellent televsion for bedroom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Television does exactly what I purchased it for. The 1080p picture is outstanding and the sound is great for a bedroom. If used in a larger space you would probably need a sound bar if you enjoy the true sound of a movie. I have a Phillips Wi-Fi Blu-Ray DVD hooked to a HDMI port and the movies are picture perfect. Not a gamer so couldn't tell you how those systems show on the television. Price was also perfect! Hard to find a 32", 1080p for $150.
