INSTALL - ALARM W/KEYLESS ENTRY INSTALLATION

Bought the install online, the website said there were no available dates for a month unless I was to drive 30 miles. I decided to call, my closest local store had an opening 2 weeks away, which wasn't shown online. I decided to call the next available best buy, which also showed no availability online. They had one 2 days from my purchase date, I selected that, install went great, picked it up the next day. Assuming everything was installed correctly, drove it around, everytime I would unlock my door with the keyless entry my old horn alarm would go off. So I called the install guy, he told me to bring it in the next day, I did and he had it fixed within an hour, just a missed wire that needed to be spliced. Took it home, noticed he left some trash in the truck, misc small items and one screw was rattling around inside the door panel. Other than that, alarm works well, and he did a great job.

To put a bout of car fever to rest - I purchased a Jensen VX7020 head unit and Viper 3505V alarm system with keyless ignition for my 1996 Acura Integra GSR. The former I installed myself, however for the latter - one needs to Google a bit for sufficient information and it seemed more invasive, time consuming and more prone to error for a first timer. The fact that I had purchased the Viper elsewhere was no problem for Geek Squad. Obviously the store closest to me is very popular and I had to schedule an appointment 3 weeks out. However, once there, the installation was done about 3 hours and entirely covered by the cost of the installation package. The installation was clean and it has so far worked exactly as expected.

I have one of those great older cars that are very popular with thieves. After multiple attempts to steal my car I had this security system installed - so far exactly with the desired effect!! No issues since. Loved that the installation was included - Geek squad was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! great communication as well. Absolutely worth it! Wish I had done it sooner. Good to know: This system comes with some extra features - (i.e. key less entry and more) which you can or can not use depending on age and model of your car. The BEST BUY price includes basic installation only - which is great if you can't use any of the extras anyways. But if you do - I recommend calling the guys from Geek Squad before to find out how much on top any extras would be.

I bought an alarm from a competitor and was having multiple issues with it such as lack of distance, not always working and actually had a wire burn. I went to Best Buy in Menomonee Falls WI and had them put in a new alarm for me. They did a great job and were able to fix all the extra wiring issues that the previous people caused. Great alarm and over the top install.

The installation includes most things required for the alarm, however they hit you with a couple extra fees which aren't included, but wasn't terrible (like an extra $10...although they had quoted me an extra $80, so it depends on what you want installed for the car alarm). Otherwise installation was smooth and easy. No issues with it since we got our car alarm installed several months ago.

Granddaughter loved this. Already has snow so will enjoy this as soon as it is installed at end of month. Great product for the money.

Geek squad to the rescue - they pointed out this is not what I wanted - setup the exchange and everything was good to go....

I bought this alarm for my daughter's 1995 Ford Bronco. Her first car and I wanted the keyless entry for her, the alarm, and panic button for safety. It works great and she is excited. The install guy was great getting it installed and making sure it worked correctly. Great item for the price.
