The best phone mount!
I own a 2003 Jeep Liberty and the dash is not smooth at all, as a matter of fact there really is not much of a dash. I went through a lot of phone mounts and none really worked the way I liked or needed. The iOttie Easy Flex 3 is just what I was looking for. It is compact and east to use, after wiping down my dash(to clear it from dust etc.) I attached the iOttie mount and was surprised that it stuck!! I put my Lumia 640 in it and drove around making sure I hit potholes and bumps, thinking that it would definitely come loose. Well I was wrong, the iOttie mount stayed in place, it did not move at all. So I decided to mount it on the windshield and did the same type of driving to see how it would perform, I was not disappointed the mount stayed in place. I am impressed with the iOttie Easy Flex 3 mount, it can hold a phone up to 3.1 inches wide and phones that are as small as 2.1 inches, you can turn your phone 360 degrees if need be and tilt it side to side for a better viewing angle. The suction cup has a sticky gel on it so it can adhere to rough surfaces not just smooth. I will warn you now make sure you place it correctly the first time, the gel is really strong, it is like the gel does not want to let go! I wanted to see how well the gel performed without engaging the locking lever, so once again I drove around hitting potholes and bumps with my Lumia 640 in the mount and once again the mount did not come loose, I was very surprised! I live in Michigan and right now the temps are pretty cold, at night we have been hitting single digits, I have had this mount in place for well over a week without the locking lever engaged and the mount is still stuck on my windshield and even with my phone in the mount it still holds strong, some of my other mount would have come off by now. Finally I have found a mount that works, it works on my dimpled dash with ease and is the perfect size for my limited dash. It works even better on my windshield, it simply does not want to let go! One other thing I have tested is if it will still hold tight after being rinsed clean, yes you simply rinse the suction cup under cool water to remove any debris and let it air dry. Now I have purposely put some dust and dirt on the suction cup and rinsed it clean(and let it air dry) multiple times and the mount still performs like new. If you are tired of looking for a mount that does not perform like you want then you have got to get this mount!!!

Helpful little item
Purchased this for my road trip to Florida the holidays. I wanted something to hold my cell phone so I wasn't searching for it while driving. I own an iPhone 5C and it fit perfectly. I did have a little trouble attaching it to the dash at first (my dash is not flat) It took a few tries but once I figure it out I haven't moved it since.

Works pretty good for me
I bought an iOttie Easy Flex II a couple of years ago and it was getting a little worn out so I shopped online for a new one and found this newer version. The older one fit my phone snugly so I assumed that this one would work too but all of the reviews said it would not fit my Samsung Note 4. I was a little worried to drop $20 on it if it wasn't going to work with my phone but since I was so happy with my old one, I took a chance. I received it in the mail a couple of weeks ago and found that it does fit my phone...a little tightly...but it fits even with the s-view flip case! The older version felt a little more study but this one hugs my dashboard perfectly. I'm pretty happy.
