Q: My J7+ robot died. Can this robot be used with this auto empty dock?
A: Hello ALarg, Yes, the self emptying dock is the same for all the j series robots. However, if you buy the robot without the self empty dock (it will come with a smaller dock that only charges), you will also need to buy a new bin with evac port, as it won't have the flap on the bottom needed for emptying.

Amazing Roomba
I just want to start off by saying i have 3 dogs. They shed alot. This roomba is a life saver. My partner has mild allergies and ever since buying this roomba and being able to set it on a schedule with just my phone, those mild allergies are doing much better. The app is super helpful and even tells me when i need to change a part, the specific part and where to buy the part. Dog parents would all benefit with a roomva if you struggle with a pet that sheds.

Initializing the Irobot
I had trouble connecting the iRobot to my account. It took me almost a week to get it working. I'm testing it by mapping the areas. I think the battery doesn't last long.

iRobot J5 combo
Loved it for about a week, after that it kept having problems, it would send me notifications that it was stuck and it would be in the middle of my living room with nothing around it and it kept telling me that it was offline and I would need to reconnect it to the WiFi, none of my other smart devices have any problems with the WiFi, or it would run out of battery before it would make it to the self charging station.
