The Roomba 105 Combo is a good robot vacuum and mop. It’s compact, fits under most furniture, and the setup is super easy—just follow the app prompts, let it map your rooms, and you’re good to go except when you need to empty it every few days. The AutoEmpty dock is not included with this model, and it’s kinda missed. I’m also not a fan of the new top disc design—it just doesn’t look as nice as the older Roombas. Fortunately, the addition seems to benefit the navigation.
Cleaning Performance
Cleaning power is solid for everyday dust, dirt, and pet hair. It seems to have similar suction as the older models, and the brush does a decent job on hard floors and low-pile rugs. But honestly, I’m skeptical about the single brush roller. The older dual rubber rollers (like on the j7+) always felt more effective, especially for pet hair and avoiding tangles. Edge cleaning is just okay—you’ll still need to hit the corners yourself sometimes.
Noise is another thing I noticed. This model is definitely louder than my old j7 robots. Not a dealbreaker, but if you’re sensitive to noise, just know it’s not exactly quiet. Navigation is good for the price—it maps rooms quickly and cleans in rows, even in the dark.
The mopping feature is basic. It drags a damp pad over the floor, which is fine for light dust but not for sticky messes. It does avoid carpets when mopping, but sometimes it’s a little too cautious and skips spots near rugs. This model doesn’t seem to work with dedicated mop bots like the m6. I havent figured out if there’s a hack to do double mop with an m6, which I’d love after I’ve thrown a party.
Everyday Use
This robot is great for keeping up with daily dust and crumbs, especially if you run it every day or two. The app makes it easy to start a cleaning, set schedules, or create no-go zones. You’ll need to refill the mop water tank manually pretty much every time you set it on a mission so keep an eye on it if you mop a lot.
Downsides
-Single brush roller isn’t as quiet and gentle as the old dual rubber rollers.
-Louder than previous j7+ models.
-Top disc design isn’t as nice looking.
-Edge cleaning is just okay.
-Mopping is minimal—good for dust, not real messes.
-doesn't seem to be as smart at avoiding cords or small stuff as my j7 bots
Bottom Line
The Roomba 105 Combo is a practical, budget-friendly robot for daily upkeep. It’s easy to use and keeps floors looking decent. This is a GREAT first bot or secondary bot. You can probably get a dock separately once you buy into the iRobot system. I do RECOMMEND this bot as a great value. If you have iRobot already, this would be good to replace one of the 700 or earlier bots. If you have an i3-i9 bot or you're using an m6 with your bot, I think you should go for one of the higher level bots since this alone won't do as well as your bot combo.

**** My Take ****
The iRobot Rooma 105 Combo is my third cleaning robot and the first one to actually impress me with its performance and easy usability. The setup process was quick and simple – download the app, find the Roomba and connect it to the home network, create maps of the rooms I want to clean, then tell it to go clean.
The mapping process was pretty accurate, and the outlines of the living spaces the robot created were almost 100% spot-on. I decided to have it focus only on the kitchen and the living room since they aren’t as high-traffic as our bedrooms and they have less clutter and obstacles.
Our kitchen is a messy area that requires daily mopping due to frequent messes from our dogs, the cooking, washing dishes, etc. To my delight and surprise, the Roomba 105’s mopping performance was almost as good as a human doing it with a floor mop. For perspective, my wife says cleaning the kitchen floor with the Tineco Go H20 floor washer results in 100% cleanness. Her cleaning the kitchen floor with a floor mop, she says, results in 80% cleanness, and the Roomba 105 is at 75% cleanness level. In other words, she’s only 5% better than the Roomba 105 when it comes to mopping. That’s not bad for a little robot that saves me sweat and time from having to do the labor myself. The cleaning performance can be improved further if you use a cleaning solution instead of just water – just be sure to buy the authentic iRobot one or the warranty can be voided.
I wish there were at least three mopping pads in the box but two is what I got. The replacement mop pads, fortunately, aren’t too expensive and feel priced fairly.
When it comes to vacuuming, it also surprised me with its strong suction and excellent ability to pick up our Goldador’s tremendous amount of hair. I wish the dustbin was bigger though and there was an easier way to empty it to avoid getting my fingers and hands dirty during the process. If you don’t like emptying the small dustbin manually and frequently, then you’ll have to buy the more expensive models that come with the auto-empty function, which is probably worth it.
All in all, I’m quite happy with this little machine that can both vacuum and mop. It vacuums up dog hair very well, and the mop function does a great job keeping our kitchen floor clean. For the two Benjamins it’s currently selling for, I think the Roomba 105 Combo is definitely worth the coin. 4.5 Stars.

Have you ever heard these words? ”Clean up your mess. You don't have a maid.” Then I'm gonna assume that you were once a child who wished they had a robot to clean said mess. I know. I know. “How did you know?” I get that a lot. But that's neither here nor there. You're here for the title character. The Roomba iRobot 105.
What's In The Box
Simply put. You get the 105,a charging dock, and an extra mop pad. Very simple. This package is only 10.5 lbs and super easy to put together and get going.
If this is your first time. You'll need to leave the mop pad off while it maps your place. That's where it gets exciting. 105(Let's call it “Floe”(Call him/ her whatcha want.) is going to nap your area in no time, after a firmware update, of course. If you've got anything light on the floor, it may topple, as this is a powerful little dirt devil. Once it learns your place, it will learn to go around things as well.
After the mapping, making your rooms is a neat feature, just to make it feel more like family. And you can schedule it to clean(mop, vacuum or both) As many days a week as you'd like. There are voice commands so you can treat it as sentient. And after every cleaning, you can change the mop water reservoir and use the small added brush to clean the filter and dirt crate. It's a very easy to use machine and it's very affordable. And it's small enough to dock beneath furniture to keep it from being stepped on by kids or chewed up by the pets. The only issue I have is the fact it does require manual cleaning, but for the price, this can be looked over. If you've used more expensive robots in the past, this one will remind you why you paid what you did for them. And you may be left wanting more. But if this is your first venture into having your own maid. This will prove to be a life changer. Barring the minor cleanup issue, I believe that this is a solid little addition to a small home. Or even an extra upstairs unit. Just remember to keep your floors cleaned. “You weren't raised in a barn.”

This is my review of the iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum and Mop.
The Roomba 105 Combo performs well for the price, but has some shortcomings and flaws that left me underwhelmed.
Setup was easy; I downloaded and installed the app immediately after unboxing the unit by scanning the QR code in the packaging, registered my account, and that was ready to go. The robot itself is very intuitive as well, simply plug in the base, attach the mop head, and fill the water compartment. Charging didn’t take all that long, and after getting it connected to the app I was ready for it to map the main floor of my home, which is primarily hardwood with a few, thin rugs. Mapping the home was successful, although during the mapping function, the robot failed to climb onto the rugs, which was a harbinger of things to come.
After mapping, I had it do a full cleaning cycle. On the positive side, the Roomba 105 is quieter than other robotic vacuum cleaners I have owned in the past, and it does a decent job of both vacuuming and mopping. It also moves faster than I expected, which I thought was a positive, and finally, it seems like the Roomba was practically custom built with my kitchen chairs in mind; it can get between the legs to clean with less than an inch to spare! That was a pleasant surprise, I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had to dodge the chairs completely, but that wasn’t the case.
During the cleaning cycle though, like during the mapping, the robot proved unable to climb the ¼ inch (if that) height of the rugs in the kitchen, so those never got vacuumed. I guess that’s OK, I normally shake those rugs out outside anyway, but still, I fully expected the Roomba 105 to be able to vacuum the rugs.
After cleaning the house, it successfully found its way back to the charging station, and I emptied the dust bin, which was completely full. That process is very easy, and I like the tiny broom that snaps into the bin to truly clean it out, down to the finer dust particles.
My final test was grabbing a handful of minute rice and a few kernels of Captain Crunch and scattering them on the floor, and having the Roomba clean the room to see how much it was able to vacuum up vs. flinging around the room or otherwise failing to collect. At the end of the cycle, there were just 4 grains of rice it failed to pick up. I’ll give that test a B+.
The Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum and Mop is at the lower price range of cleaners, especially ones that do both tasks, so my final judgement takes that into account. I think if you have all the same flooring throughout your house or apartment, and the area is relatively small, this could be a decent value for you. However, even thin rugs on a hard surface prove impossible for this device to climb, and the small onboard dustbin does not have a base it can empty itself into. For those reasons, I give the Roomba 105 3 stars. It does “OK”, but it’s just not a compelling product.

Lil Roomba on the Job

This was actually my first time using a vacuum/mop robot—or as some call it, a Roomba. I was genuinely hyped to start using it the moment it arrived. I figured I’d start with something basic, as most probably do when getting one for the first time.
Setting up the Roomba out of the box was easy. Within a few minutes of unpacking it, attaching the brushes, and inserting the compartment for the water and vacuum bin, I was ready to go. I followed the simple instructions to connect it to the app and WiFi, and even gave it a name. I called mine “Lil Roomba.” But for some reason, right after the setup was complete, the Roomba decided to start cleaning immediately. Meanwhile, the app began updating the device, but since the Roomba had other plans, the update got stuck in limbo. After about an hour of trying to factory reset it and retry the update, it finally went through successfully. Not the best first experience with the app. In fairness, though, since that initial hiccup, I haven’t had any other issues.
Once the Roomba is fully updated, the fun part begins—if you can call cleaning fun, lol. The first step is a full scan of your rooms. For this process, you have to remove the brush. For my downstairs townhome, which is around 500 sq ft, the mapping took about 30 minutes. Afterward, you can name your room or rooms.
As for cleaning modes, you can choose specific rooms, select between light or deep cleaning cycles, and pick whether you want to mop, vacuum, or do both. Since I didn’t purchase the self-cleaning bundle, I had to refill the water tank and empty the dust bin manually. Roomba does include an extra mop cloth so you can have one ready while the other is being washed. For mopping, make sure to use a cleaning solution that’s safe for the Roomba; if you don’t have one, plain water will do. The area I tested first was all hardwood floors. A deep clean took about 4 hours. What’s nice is that before the battery runs out, the Roomba returns to the charging dock, recharges, and then resumes cleaning. If you have a larger space, expect longer clean times—it’s probably best to let it run overnight. A light clean, by comparison, only took 30 minutes. My floors weren’t super dirty aside from a few spots that needed mopping, but after the run, I felt it did a pretty solid job. The real test will be when we have guests over for a night of hanging out.
Overall, I was satisfied with my Roomba experience despite the early hiccup. For a small apartment like mine, it’s a smart investment to help keep things tidy with minimal effort—especially with scheduled cleanings. With limited space, this setup makes perfect sense. The charging base doesn’t take up much room, and since it’s a small area to clean, I don’t need to refill or empty the unit after every cycle. I’d highly recommend this as a first-time starter unit for anyone looking to hop on the Roomba bandwagon.

Roomba 105 Combo Robot MISSES THE MARK

I had high hopes for the Roomba 105 Combo Robot Vacuum and Mop. - it has a small footprint and I could use a robot to clean my floors! Some aspects are good and others... not so much. The vacuum itself does a good job vacuuming carpets and mopping floors - with caveats. The setup was relatively easy - downloading and using the Roomba Home app is necessary. I just followed the app instructions and added it to my 2.4ghz network. I was up and ready to go in no time, but then the issues began. The app is where you tell the Roomba what to do, how to do it, where to do it, and when to do it, but it is very "buggy". After setting it all up, I told Roomba to start mapping my home - a great feature, when it works. Mapping is what would allow you to tell Roomba to clean or avoid a certain room or rooms. She did the mapping, but it was far from accurate and very confusing. Still, I tried to work with it. I tried to merge, split and rename rooms to more accurately match the floor plan. The app would have none of it - giving me an error message each time and locking up the app. I closed the app and re-opened it, looked to see I was on the most recent version (I was), I even deleted and reinstalled the app - nothing worked. I have an older Roomba that utilizes the Classic app and it has no such issues. I wonder why iRobot feels they need to reinvent the wheel and this time not make it round, instead of updating the Classic app for the new line of Roombas.
Frustrated, I ignored the map issue for a bit, and went on to tell it to just vacuum the whole house. It started up and went on its way only to stop for charging about 4 times (for a 1600 sq ft house) before I stopped it after approximately 9 hours -- enough was enough. I looked at the history in the app, only to find that the use wasn't shown there. After being utterly frustrated with this vacuum, I deleted the vacuum and the app and set it up all over again. For this 2nd go-round, things were better. I sent it out to map, and it did a much better job this time. I then was able to name the rooms, split rooms it had combined and merge rooms that were showing as divided. Better! It can vacuum only, mop and vacuum or mop only - great features! So I sent it off to mop and vacuum the kitchen - I thought I would start with a small. job. Unfortunately, it seems that when it is mopping, in any capacity, it won't go over rugs or carpets so that it doesn't get the rugs wet. I had to carry it into the kitchen to do the job as it couldn't get there because of rugs. Rather inconvenient for me! It did start to mop and I believe also vacuum the floor, but it needed to re-charge after about 10 minutes and then it couldn't get itself back to the dock, due to the rugs. In all fairness, instructions do suggest rolling up and moving rugs out of the way, but who is going to do that to clean their floor? Another robot vac & mop I had could do both at the same time and would actually lift the pad up when it sensed it was on carpet. So, after another failed attempt - I lifted it up and carried it to the dock to charge and cancelled the job. After it was up to about 89%, I tried sending it out to just vacuum 3 rooms. After a little more than 4.5 hours and numerous returns to charge, I told it to stop the job and go home. I was so frustrated that the battery doesn't last long enough to even do 3 rooms! In addition to that, it charges quite slowly. Another time, I sent it out at 100% to do one room and the hallway attaching that room to where it is docked. It vacuumed for 2.5 hours before returning to the dock to charge at 23%, job unfinished. With that, I was done.
When it vacuums, it vacuums fairly well. It does the room edges nicely and isn't too loud. It does leave path marks on the carpet, which I normally enjoy seeing, but this does straight paths and also a lot of swirls so it leaves meandering path marks, which I don't enjoy. This Roomba's sensor doesn't work as well as I would like, running into objects and pushing them along the floor. I would prefer a more sensitive approach and going around items. When I schedule a cleaning job, I don't want to take time to remove everything, I just want the job done as best it can be. It does not work with my Alexa as it claims. Alexa actually told me it no longer works with that. Charging is an issue - it needs frequent charging and it takes a long time to charge.
Overall, I am disappointed with this iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Robot Vacuum & Mop: It can't mop the floors without a lot of work on my part removing rugs; I need to move things out of its way because the sensors aren't sensitive enough to tell it to go around small objects; because of the charging issues; because of the app issues; and because it doesn't send notifications to my phone - only the app. Because of those reasons, this robot vacuum is a no go for me. I did give it 3 stars because when it simply vacuums, it seems to vacuum well (before running out of charge).

Pro:
-Vacuum and mop does a good job cleaning
Con:
-Get stuck often
-App buffering or not refreshing
-Can’t edit scheduled tasks
I have rooms that are either completely empty, with minimal furniture, or have few big furniture, the ideal condition for this Roomba to work. Overall I’m not that impressed with this “smart” vacuum nor its app. When it works, it does a good job cleaning. The vacuuming is strong enough to suck up fine dust from the carpet, and the mopping is about the same as dragging a wet rag on the floor. The dust bin needs to be emptied out every other time, and the water tank holds maybe a few cups of water. The main issue is that it often needs to be babysit. In the empty rooms, it worked well most of the time, going back and forth one line at a time. In the other rooms, it would regularly get stuck on something, get confused and just keep bumping into the wall until it just quits, and once it just kept rotating in the corner. They still haven’t solved the issues for these robot vacuums getting stuck on something low to the floor, but not high enough to hit its bumper. For instance, my desk has an L shaped leg, and the Roomba would power its way onto it, but then gets stuck. It would also get stuck on mats or under the sofa. You could mark some areas as a Keep Out zone in the app to help guide it somewhat.
The app works half the time, with the other times it keeps buffering/refreshing and fails. I had to run the initial setup four times. The vacuum tries to map out the rooms only for the app to not update and starts over. It finally worked after a fresh restart, and mapped out the rooms accurately. The map lets you block out areas for either vacuuming or mopping, or zones that the robot won’t enter. I can set up cleaning schedules, but I can’t really edit it other than the time. It won’t allow you to change which rooms or which cleaning settings to change. Again it would sometimes get stuck refreshing and the app needs to be closed.
In the end, I let it run in the empty rooms and parts of the other rooms. The mopping does help keep those rooms clean, and is more convenient than having to do it myself. However, if I need to constantly help it get around in the other rooms, I feel like it would be faster to just vacuum myself. Considering my rooms are almost empty, I don’t know how well this will work in a full room.

iRobot - Roomba 105 Combo Robot Vacuum & Mop
REVIEW
I like that Roomba has some affordable units like this. It gives the option to have several of them in different rooms and levels without it hitting so hard in the pocketbook. This Roomba requires the new Roomba Home App instead of the now labeled "Classic" app. Though not the end of the world it now means I have to use two different apps to control my two Roombas. I like that the app actually shows the pattern used to clean.
Overall the 105 combo does a pretty good job at vacuuming and mopping. I find it best suited for smaller spaces, due to the limited dust bin capacity and liquid capacity. In a large all carpeted room I had to chase down the unit several times and empty the bin before the job was complete. If you can afford it, I would absolutely consider an upgrade to the self emptying model. The mopping is fine, but it is not a deep scrub, just skimming the surfaces with a damp pad.
RECOMMENDATION
As long as you keep your expectations in check (good overall basic cleaning). The Roomba 105 is a great value.

This is my second Roomba robot cleaner in as many years, though it is my first from this brand that can employ a wet mop while vacuuming. This mid-tier robot vacuum does not have a self-emptying station but is a step up over the basic vacuum robot as it uses laser radar guidance (LiDAR) to create a map of your spaces, determine its location, and avoid obstacles. It has the usual drop sensors on the bottom, as well as front bumper with a low activation threshold, so it’ll redirect after only a gentle tap preventing scrapes and scratches to the unit itself and furniture or walls. The water tank is built right into the removable dust bin at the back and holds a little over 1 cup of water or cleaning solution. The mop pads install via Velcro onto a plastic bracket that snaps into the bottom of the tank and can be removed when not in use.
I like that the station has a really small footprint, as the charging contacts have been moved to the backside of the robot, rather than underneath, since this eliminates the need for a pad under the robot. The brick on the AC adapter is oriented vertically which I found to be a space saver that makes it fit better on power strips with horizontally adjacent outlets. The station only requires 1.5 ft clearance to its sides, 5 ft in front, and should be placed by an outlet at least 5 ft away from stairs and drop off points.
Setup is fairly straightforward. After selecting a suitable spot for the charging station, download and install the Roomba Home app to a mobile device, and create or log into an account; note that this model is not compatible with the iRobot Home (Classic) app. In the app you’ll map your space which takes only a few minutes depending on the size of your rooms. The LiDAR navigation successfully detected walls, furniture, and other large objects in my open floor plan space. The robot crossed over ¼” room transition thresholds with ease as well as a rigid cord cover, although it had trouble sensing very thin furniture legs, like those on my kitchen chairs and studiolight tripods.
Just be cautious with lightweight furniture that has tall, narrow legs because it can bump these with enough force to move them around or knock them over. You will also have to remember to keep any cords and cables out-of-reach as these can get tangled in or dragged by the wheels and main roller. The LiDAR is able to detect rugs and carpet automatically, so it can avoid mopping over them; however, I didn’t have any in the rooms where I’m using it.
The app will take its best guess at how your rooms are divided, though you can merge or spilt rooms after the fact, add no-go or no-mop zones, and assign clean zones for areas that regularly require extra or special attention. The only frustration I had with the app is when placing these zones, you cannot drag the map to reposition it (only zoom in and out with a fixed center), so be sure to center the map over your target area before selecting which type of zone to add. You can also add up to 2 additional maps for different areas or floors in your home.
Settings can be customized for each space like vacuum, mop, or both, number of passes, suction power, and liquid amount when mopping. Sticky or dried on messes can be tackled by a special setting called “Smart Scrub,” so you won’t have to run multiple passes over it. Cleaning can be initiated on a one-off basis from the app, by pressing the power button on the robot, via voice command with an AI smart home assistant, or simply removing it from the charging station.
Alternatively, you can set the robot to clean selected areas on a schedule at specific days and times, or spot clean by marking it on the map or physically placing the robot, if there’s a spill in a particular area. One oddity is the time selector when creating a schedule, as the hour selector for the time is two concentric circles of military hours, 0-23, which I didn't find very user friendly.
During cleaning, you can track the live location of the robot on the map in the app, see which areas it has already cleaned and the path that it took. However, I did find that oftentimes the live map and history had trouble loading, specifically during and after a mid-session charge up, as afterward I would always get a constantly spinning loading circle. When mopping, the robot leaves a slightly damp trail behind as it cleans, but even at the highest liquid level, I found that it dries quickly and is completely dry after only a few minutes.
From a fully depleted state the battery takes about 5 hours to fully charge. When set to max suction and mop liquid, the battery doesn’t last long enough to complete our 400 sq ft map in one run. Oddly, the robot usually stops cleaning and returns to the station due to “low battery” after an hour, even though it sometimes has as much as 33% battery remaining, according to the app. It also resumes cleaning after only 90 minutes of charging (~20% charge gained) while announcing “charging complete” which seems inefficient as it only runs for another 20 minutes before returning to the base for low battery again. This results in the unit cleaning in multiple short intervals to finish the entire map rather than over one or two longer runs.
The other issue I ran into is that the water tank doesn’t hold enough water for mopping at maximum dispensed liquid to finish my entire map. The unit doesn’t automatically pause or notify you when the water tank is empty, and if I try to fill the tank by removing it from the charging station during a charging break, it resets the cleaning cycle and starts a new run from scratch instead of continuing from where it left off. Instead, you have to pause the machine while it is running, remove and refill the water tank, then resume cleaning so that it’ll finish out its current run.
As for cleaning power, the vacuum and mop performance are great. The unit is a bit loud when run at max suction, but this will provide the cleanest results at the expense of shorter run times. The robot always picks up a lot of dust, hair, and debris even when our floors look pretty clean. As with most robot vacuums that require manual emptying, dumping out the dust bin can be a little messy. However, the bin can be rinsed off in the sink and other components are also removable for cleaning, maintenance, or replacement, like the HEPA filter, roller brush, and side sweeper. After mopping, remember to empty the tank and wash/dry the mop pad to avoid issues with mold and mildew. I appreciate that there are two microfiber mopping pads included as they are meant to be replaced after 30 washes.
Overall, I like this combo robot vac mop for maintaining a consistent baseline of cleanliness of our hard flooring. It’s nice to be able to perform additional cleanings when needed either using the app or Alexa voice commands, which even allow you to specify the room to clean. Of course, if you want to utilize the mopping feature, you have to do a little advance planning and babysit the unit during operation in case the tank goes dry; if your space is large, you may need to fill the water tank several times, and you’ll lose the ability to view the map progress if the unit goes back to charge mid-mission. It could also take multiple charge and resume cycles to finish a large map.

To be upfront I had wanted one of these for years and I was super excited to finally get one. I had the open to get one of the upgraded models and I regret not doing that.
This is a pretty simple setup. You need the roomba home app. You need to create a map first. Block anywhere you don’t roomba to go. Make sure it’s a very sturdy block. Roomba can be very persistent.
On my first try roomba could tell the separation of rooms in my house. I didn’t block off some areas well enough ( I have puppies and puppy pads, roomba was eating the pads). On the second map roomba made my house one big room.
For vacuuming this does pretty good. I could see lots of dog hair etc in the basket. Roomba may have to run a few times to get one specific area though.
For the mop. You have to use an attachment with pads. The liquid squirts out, the brush loosens up the first. Some of the liquid/ dirt goes into the vacuum bin and and rest goes on to the pads you have to attach. So there is no sucking up the dirty water you just have the pads dragging the dirt around.
I suggest if you end up with this. Use this for vacuum only. If you have a very tiny area to mop it may work since the pads needs to be changed out very frequently.
If you have a larger space get one of the upgraded versions.

Roomba keeps expanding their lineup of robot vacuums. This Roomba 105 is a entry level product for those maybe with a small floor plan or just looking to not break the bank. It comes with an easily removable water tank/dust bin. I wish I didn't have to physically turn the robot to remove it but it's a trade off for this budget build I guess.
If this is your first Roomba, congratulations! It's easy to follow first boot up instructions via the Roomba home app. However, if this is an add on Roomba, you most likely already have the iRobot app and you will find out that you will need this newer Roomba Home app. I'm not a fan of having an additional mobile app to control what essentially are the same products. Additionally, this new mobile app keeps giving me issues where I can't even access my Roomba cleaning history even if it just ran earlier that day. It also took some time to first boot up the app to manually run the robot every now and then from the app itself.
Outside of those headaches, I can see this useful for someone who can use a quick floor cleaning every now and then. Perhaps even for someone who isn't looking for all the bells and whistles. It's limited to smaller spaces due to its small water tank, which for me gives me about 2 uses in my living room before I need to refill. It handles well on lips in flooring but if you have tight spaces you can be presented with it going a little crazy and searching.

It is a good robot vacuum cleaner only that the storage capacity for water and garbage is small, which means that it would not work in a very large work area. I also do not like that the mop becomes too wet when it ends and takes time to dry on its own. It has been functional for me because I use it in a small area.

The Roomba allows for smart mapping and lets you schedule your cleaning days. For the best results i typically set the vacuum function first and mop after instead of doing both concurrently.

We really wanted to like this Roomba, but it’s been more frustrating than helpful. The updates constantly get stuck, and the only fix is a full factory reset, every time. That means redoing the entire setup process, which gets old real fast.
When it’s actually doing its job, it cleans well and does what it’s supposed to but honestly, it’s not worth the hassle anymore. If we were still within the return window, it would’ve gone back in a heartbeat.
Until iRobot fixes their update system, I’d steer clear.

Great product. The house mapping is accurate, and the vacuum cleaning is excellent. The device is not very loud. The app also offers flexibility and control in terms of the nature of cleaning and scheduling. Highly recommended!
