I am so happy to have a way to charge my phone and play music through my car radio without having to replace the default radio which fits with the car look of the car.

After looking for something to add functionality to the stock Mach460 system in my 2004 Ford Mustang GT, I came across this product. I was looking for this mysterious PIE adapter, which is not carried for the 2004 Mustang GT anymore. It did not take that long to install after, finding the accessory power wire in the stock head unit. Man, this thing sounds better than CD quality!!!! I added the on/off switch into the coin holder in the console so it is not as noticeable. DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!

My wife saw all of my gadgets in my car and wanted something so that she could play her Pandora on her car radio. I was going to get her the Bluetooth piece from isimple but she didn't have an aux hole in her car. I asked the salesperson at BestBuy and they suggested this product because it works with any radio and has the correct connector for the iPhone 5S. Cool part was that installation was included and it only took 45 minutes for the whole process. Once installed, the only thing visible was the Apple cable to connect the phone to. What I was most impressed with was the sound. We played music from her phone and from Pandora and both sound really good. She also has told me that the charging seems to be faster on this versus the plug she was using before this was put in.

It worked well enough for just over a year (long enough for the warranty to expire.) Then the cable to the iphone broke just at the connector. It cannot be replaced without removing (for $50) and reinstalling (for $50) the whole unit, even if they give you the unit for free. Waste of money. If you look at the review of this thing on Amazon, it's a common problem with the product.
