A: Yes, this unit is single DIN faceplate dimension, and half depth. Further it is very lightweight, due to the omission of the CD drive. It comes with a tool free install surround, which works perfectly: despite the unit's excellent sound, it weighs almost nothing, and secure installation does not require the brackets and securing of older units.
