Prepare up to 4 cups of coffee in your existing Keurig 2.0 brewer with this Keurig 2.0 40647 coffee carafe that features vacuum seal technology to help keep your coffee warm. The easy-pour handle helps you avoid spills.
A: Yes, you have to "plug in" the carafe before the brewer will recognise there is one. Just "unplug" the drip tray and slide the carafe under the brewer head so the "tab" on the carafe's bottom "plugs in" to the notch. MAKE SURE THE CARAFE IS ** SQUARELY ** SEATED OR THE CARAFE WON'T BE RECOGNISED! Ensure the water reservoir is COMPLETELY FULL, insert the Carafe Pack into the brewer and close the lid. You'll see the "carafe: 3-4 (cup)" symbol appear: Touch it ONCE to change to "4-5 (cups)", again to revert to "3-4 (cups)", etc. (only 2 settings!). Let the brewer "warm up", press the flashing button, and in approx. 5 minutes you'll have a steaming-hot carafe of "Liquid Life". :) Hope this helps...
Q: Can anyone tell me if this is the old or updated carafe model? Thank you,
A: Its the newer model for the 2.0 systems.
A: The k-cup reusable is for single cup only. You'll need to purchase the "k-carafe" insert to make up to 4 cups with your own coffee (the store was out, so I bought one on-line,for about $9.00). We haven't used the timer yet, so can't be of help there.
A: Yes it does find one that made for 2.0 not plus
Q: What pod do I purchase for multiple cups using the 2.0?
A: You have to buy a carafe pod and use one of the carafe's that come with the Keurig or you have to purchase a carafe.
Q: how doI order the carafe online do not have product within area of 92376 san Bernardino ca.
A: Search Keurig carafe and it should show up or look under accessories. Also you'll want to price match
A: When you insert a reusable kcup, it’ll prompt you to use the carafe. Make sure to use 3-4cups setting.
Q: Can u use the special reusable 2.0 pod for the crafe
A: You could, but the coffee would be weak - you can buy carafe pods or you can buy a reusable pod (best option for me!).
