Q: Has anyone used this laptop for automobile tuning? What was your experience if so?
A: I purchased this laptop to use with Forscan and a future tuning software (it meets the requirements of various tuning software's) . Can't confirm its use with tuning software just yet but it did its job well when connecting with my Ranger to update various modules and features with Forscan.

This configuration ships with a 128GB M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0x2 NVMe, solid state hard drive. There is internal storage support within this configuration for: Up to 2 drives, 1x 2.5 Inch HDD + 1x M.2 2242/2280 SSD, • 2.5 Inch HDD up to 1TB, • M.2 2242 SSD up to 512GB, • M.2 2280 SSD up to 512GB. We recommend you consult your certified technician about your storage upgrade options.
Q: In specs it says no backlit keyboard but further down it has customizable backlight
A: I think the customizable backlight is referring to the screen brightness. I have not seen any feature w the keyboard having and lighting.

This configuration ships with 8GB (4GB OnBoard + 4GB DIMM). There is 4GB RAM soldered to the motherboard and an additional 4GB RAM within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration. Your certified technician can remove the 4GB within the RAM memory slot and replace it with an 8GB stick of DDR4-2400MHz RAM for the system maximum RAM of 12GB DDR4-2400MHz RAM. We recommend you consult with your certified technician about your upgrade options.
