A: Hi. Not sure this is the answer you're looking for, but I would think it is still safe to use as long as it's not continuing to flake off and would end up in the food. I am not an expert, but I think the coating is primarily to aid in the self-cleaning feature of the oven. Sorry, but I don't have any idea if can can be repaired or where to go to find out.
