The large screen and vivid colors also impress users, making it an ideal choice for gaming and movie watching. While some find the price to be expensive, many agree that it is worth the investment for the quality and features offered.
I'm not going to do an in depth review here. Let me just say that I was worried about a few compatibility issues, being an early adopter with some gaming technology. These tvs have features for things that aren't even out yet. One of those things came out recently. There were some compatibility issues, and LG acknowledged it within 24 hours and had it fixed within a week. This is amazing to me. As I'm sure you know, hdmi 2.1 is fairly new and there weren't any sources for it until mid September. This is great news for me, after returning a "2021" Vizio pqx for having so many issues and they were unwilling to even acknowledge their firmware caused them, so these things take months to get fixed, and honestly that was a terrible experience on many fronts. Pros - This tv is exceptional quality by a brand that always has its engineers working on fixes for any issues that might pop up during these early-adopter hdmi 2.1 days. This is why I'm confident with this brand going in to next gen consoles. - The tv performance from AI upscaling to streaming native apps to gaming to movie watching..the remote..the depth in the settings menu..the motion..color..contrast..response time, are all unlike anything I've seen, and I've been through flagships from every major brand (in the US) this year including sonyx900h, viziopqxH1, and samsungq90t(great tv if you prefer Led tvs. Stunning brightness. Lack of Dolby vision was a deal breaker for me). From the moment this tv comes out of the box, you get that feeling that you're getting your money's worth. Also, the build quality is great, sturdy, also it is thin and you want to watch an unboxing video before you unbox it, so you can see how it's meant to be unboxed and not miss any accessories. Oh, and the magic remote is so convenient! Cons - Burn-in risk, obviously. This worried me because I'm a gamer. I will have static images displayed in the screen. Luckily, this tv has a static image brightness limiter that will reduce the brightness on static images after 90 seconds. It also runs a pixel refresher after every 4 hours of use when you turn it off (it has to be plugged in to run pixel refresh when it's turned off) and if you have any picture "noise" or image retention, there's an hour long pixel refresher you can do manually. Also, pixel shifter technology is moving the pixels left and right, almost like a vibration, invisible to the eye, to prevent static image retention. Saying all this, I still got the best buy(magnolia, actually) warranty, as it's the only warranty in the US that covers burn-in, and if it happens, you can get a new tv of the same price you paid for this one. So this is comforting to me, although I don't anticipate this happening because I currently live alone and will be taking care of it. This is an Oled, so if your viewing conditions are very bright, you might want to consider something else. This is the best tv money can buy. Well, besides the $30,000 8k Oled, I suppose, but it isn't made for bright rooms. It's reflection handling is good, but OLeds are for light controlled rooms. Shut the blinds and enjoy.

I have to start by saying. I "upgraded" from a samsung 75 inch 7100 serious which is a serious TV and gorgeous. With the new gaming of 129hz I decided to jump the gun and grab this up. First I can say the picture is perfect there is legit not a single bad viewing angle in this thing. It lights and gorgeous on the wall. Setup was a breeze the UI is nicely laid out. Movies look amazing through Xbox X 4kblueray. The blacks are gorgeous. It could use more HDR but our home theater is a private room that is backed out so the need for higher HDR isn't really needed for us. The picture really is just gorgeous. Gaming is a level up. I can honestly say as someone who runs 3 144hz monitors this thing looks amazing on X1X and PS4 so can't wait for the new ones to come out. I did notice when playing forza some slight tearing but it wasn't terrible. Cons: so first complaint is the remote. When spending this price and for a TV that's meant for dark rooms how the remote doesn't light up is beyond me and just a lazy after thought. The power cord placement is horrible and I can't believe it can't be unplugged from the tv. The HDMI spots are horrible for anyone who wants the tight wall mount. I have all my cords seamless into the wall and it was a pain to access. I don't understand the boxing instead of an open area for direct access. I also wish they didn't put guide button in the center most people run wireless TV so why use a coaxial setup when most require a box. Other than those complaint's the TV is worth the money. If your in the market for the future grab it up. It pairs nicely with my new Marantz 1500

I must say after months of research on this tv i finally pulled the trigger and bought it in the end of may. And it's just a beautiful tv. I wanted something that has all the new features like hdmi 2.1, 120 hz, Dolby vision and hdr10. This tv has amazing blacks and just a unbelievable picture. Has game mode for fps games like call of duty and helps with the input lag. You will definitely have to adjust settings for best picture or even have geek squad come and have it calibrated for you. But this tv and the ps5 is a dream come true. If you have a man cave and want the best tv don't hesitate. Highly recommend. And please get the geek squad warranty because lg oleds have a history of burn in. Wouldn't risk it when spending this much for a tv. And this review is for the 77 inch cx. Enjoy.
