A: Howdy, This TV does in fact have HDMI 2.1 connectivity on HDMI ports 3 and 4. The one caveat is that each of these ports run at 40mbps instead of the full bandwidth of 48mbps, which HDMI 2.1 is capable of. What does this mean? It means that you'll be able to take advantage of all that HDMI 2.1 has to offer on this TV; HDR, 4K 60, 4K 120, even VFR (Variable Frame Rate) via a firmware update, and more, but the one thing you'll be limited to is a 4K picture quality that is technically referred to as 4:4:4 with 10-bit color. If you had the full 48mbps, you'd have the potential to run a 4K picture quality that is technically referred to as 4:4:4 with 12-bit color. So, if you're like me and you're wondering about HDMI 2.1 because of the impending release of the Xbox Series X or PS5, then yes this TV is likely to be just fine for running the systems at their full potential, minus the possibility of seeing the full 12-bit color depth they could offer. I'll let you google what 10-bit vs 12-bit color looks like, but for me the difference is negligible. We will have to wait and see to know for sure, but with the research I've done, I am confident enough that this is the TV I am purchasing.
