A: There isn't a water line. At the front of the machine there is a water tray you fill. I love my dryer! I've had it for about a month. I hope that helps.

A: Nope, optional. At this price point it should have been included imo.
Q: Do you have to fill the steam tray each use? Or only for steam settings?
A: Water is Only needed for the Steam settings. With the WT7800CV model, you need to add TAP WATER to the tray each time the steam fresh or sanitary options are used. LG also has a model that is directly hooked up to your water line and requires a "steam kit"; so that model does not require water in the tray.
A: I USED STRAIGHT VENT PIPE WITH 90 DEGREE ELBOW COMING OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT AND A 45 DEGREE ELBOW AND STRAIGHT VENT PIPE CONNECTING TO THE OUTSIDE EXHAUST VENT, THIS WORKED BETTER THAN THE FLEX HOSE, NO KINKS AND NO RIBBED EDGES FOR LINT TO CATCH ON TO WHEN USING STRAIGHT VENT PIPE..
