I had recently purchased a home that came with a Frigidaire washer/dryer and they were awful - poor quality, poor performance and loud. (As a side note, i called Frigidaire about performance problems with the washer and their customer service was horrible - slow to respond, lots of runaround and unwilling to stand behind their product even though it was still under warranty. So they were definitely off my list.) I'm the kind of person who has to do a lot of research before making a large ticket purchase, so I did - I researched Consumer Reports, many websites and many stores. The LG was ranked very high by both professional and consumer sources. I especially liked the high scores for brand reliability and customer service. When i compared the products in person, the LG was very visually appealing and had many practical and useful features. I bought the washer/dryer combo from Best Buy about a month ago and I genuinely love them both. The quality of the machines seems very high, the performance is outstanding and both are very quiet (this was especially important because the laundry room is nearby the bedrooms). I am very satisfied with the LG and would highly recommend it.

I love my new dryer. It seems to dry faster than my old one and has more options, most of which I haven't used yet. I do wish the end of cycle signal was louder or could be changed to buzz as was on my old dryer.

great dryer has very nice features and is pretty easy to use.i just dont like the lint filter its a little awkward to put back into its place.

I think this dryer is great it has so many drying options ,steam freah ,anti bacterial ,steam sanitary .I would recommend this dryer.Best of all it has a feature called smart diagnosis where they can send a signal over the phone to troubleshoot any problems that you may have.Loveit
