One of the best Matte OLEDs in 39inch & 800R

I’ve had this Monitor for about 2 months now and I could not be any happier with it. This monitor has the most amazing color accuracy whether it’s for editing pictures and videos or running AAA title games. If you’re still researching for a 34+ Inch OLED then you probably have came across the ROG STRIX 39PG models. Keep in mind those are Glossy OLED panels. This LG is a Matte OLED. Though the colors on the Glossy OLED look slightly more vibrant and alive, any background light or even sunlight can kinda ruin the experience. Glossy OLED would be phenomenal in a completely dark room with no background light compared to Matte but for everyone else that have Case lights, aesthetics lights, or even sunlight this Matte OLED is a better choice in my opinion. I purchased this $1300 monitor for $840 in the store as BestBuy’s price matching policy allowed me to price match it with Amazon which was wonderful. Although it took 4 employees to verify and allow it, I still got it. One said it was the large price match he had ever seen. So shout out to BestBuy for this. I had also read some reviews on the LG website itself about the Display Port 1.4 not being to run G-Sync up to 240Hz. LG customer service also acknowledged it in the comments. Fortunately though it seems they were both wrong. DP 1.4 can in fact support G-Sync up to 240HZ. One complaint: The crosshair selector menu is in an annoying 4 clicks away spot. It would be cool if you could keybind it to the default volume keybind. Especially since most people don’t use their monitor for audio

    Fast, true, and sturdy.

Top notch stuff. Coming from a 42" LG OLED TV with 120hz, I didn't realize what I was missing with the extra frames. I am using this as my main display (lower horizontal in the photo) I had some concern about such a large display and seeing pixels at 1440p, but it isn't noticeable at all unless you're within a foot of the display. Even still, no big issue. The steep 800R curve was something I was hesitant about but it works incredibly well with gaming and productivity. The immersion when gaming is unreal. The colors are astonishingly true out of the box as well. I made some minor adjustments to math what I like personally but this thing is ready to blaze out of the box.

    Simply one of the best

LG Review LG Ultragear OLED Monitor Review I recently upgraded to the LG Ultragear OLED monitor, and the difference is remarkable. It delivers an incredibly vivid and clear picture. The vibrant colors and high contrast make every image pop, making it feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. One of the standout features is the 240Hz refresh rate, which is a significant upgrade and almost feels like overkill. The motion clarity and smoothness are superb, making fast-paced gaming an absolute pleasure. Just make sure to turn motion blur off, please. While I absolutely love the monitor, I do have minor gripes with its design features. The auxiliary audio port is positioned in an awkward spot that it can be inconvenient to run a cable from the display to an external speaker without the cable being very visible. Additionally, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of a KVM switch or USB-C display port option, which would have added tremendous value for users looking to streamline their setups. Overall, despite the few design flaws, the LG Ultragear OLED monitor is a fantastic investment for any serious gamer or someone looking to enhance their visual experience. The quality it delivers makes it worthwhile, and I am delighted with my purchase. I purchased mine, via open box at about $600.
