A: Yes you can, I have two Harmony remotes and they work on all my devices

A: Yes. Simple set up. Just be sure when you are setting up the OFF sequence you add a return/home screen tap otherwise what you are watching will sometimes keep playing even if you switched devices or turned stuff off. I haven’t found a way to make the Apple TV go to sleep by pushing the off function. I have to let it wait till it’s been in active for a few minutes and cut itself off.

Q: Can this remote access a Spectrum (formerly Time/Warner) cable box and can it turn on and off two devices at one time? I currently have to power the cable and the TV separately.

Add-on device is perfect...
Reason for my purchasing this was strictly to use as an add-on with my Logitech Smart Keyboard that I purchased. Initially, I planned on using my Harmony Home Control remote and hub, until I found out that the smart keyboard was not compatible with that Hub, for whatever reason. That said, considering I got a great sale price on the Smart Keyboard, purchasing this add-on smart remote to use at the same time as my Smart Keyboard was a no brainer. The one thing that I find frustrating with the smart remote vs. the home control remote, is the placement of the rewind, play, forward, pause, record, and stop buttons, as well as the lack of a page up and page down dedicated button, which the Home Control has. Other than that, for those that use the Harmony Smart Keyboard, but also want a regular remote for one handed use, I definitely recommend getting this especially at $29.

Great Universal Remote to Use With the Harmony Hub
We got the Harmony Hub without a remote thinking our old Harmony remote would work with it; it did not. So, we got this remote to control it. It is small, thin, and light, and uses only a small coin-type non-rechargeable battery. To set it up, we simply went to the Harmony webpage, loaded the program, and ran it. It found our hub and we had little trouble specifying our DVR, DVD, TV, and AV Tuner. Through some simple questions and answers, they were set up to work. Pair the remote to the hub, load the settings and we were in action. There were some features that we wanted to add from our Cable/DVR remote, so I loaded the iPhone app (to avoid the trip to the computer room across the house) and added the features. Not the easiest to navigate the set-up on the app, and some other features were added later at the computer for ease of use as the screen is easier to see than my phone. Since we set it up and dialed it in, we've been using for a month or so, and it's nearly flawless. There are a few functions that weren't on the pull-down lists int eh set-up that we've lived without instead of manually programming as that requires plugging the hub into the computer and using the IR sensor to learn the commands. Nothing so important for us to pull our cabinet out and fight our cables to disconnect and reconnect the hub. In short, we love it.

Almost Excellent and simple to use.
Remote it is good, very simple to use and to program it. It is not too big, is light and fit perfect in the hand. One thing I missed which is deep in the specification section, you need a Harmony hub to make it work and it sold separately ($99) or in combo ($149), you save $20 buying separate. The only down side of the remote is the keys doesn't light up huge mistake, and makes it hard to see in dark areas. I may understand the logic behind it in which they used watch battery to reduce the size of the remote, in which the battery may not be powerful enough to be use with the lighting components. Some of the keys have double functions such as the Fast/Rewind, Chan+/Chan- you need to hold down the button to use the second function very clever. Overall is a good remote and it does the job very well, and you do not need to aim at the components to control them. I highly recommend this remote and will choose over any of the lower end harmony remotes. I gave it a four stars due to the missing backlight keys besides I would have giving it a 5.
