Decent keyboard
||Posted .Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This keyboard has worked just fine over the years, the only downside is not having backlit keys. The mouse has worked without any issues, and the keys have never gotten stuck. Bluetooth pairing is easy and you have the option to pair with 3 different devices. The integrated palm rest is soft enough while typing. This keyboard does have three levels of height adjustment. Likes: Good quality; Bluetooth pairing with multiple devices; soft keys; height adjustment Dislikes: No backlit keys Oh, by the way: There is a Logitect software you can download to make custom adjustments to the keys and mouse.

Workaround for BAD Lenovo Laptop keyboard
||Posted .I got this keyboard as a necessary workaround for my Lenovo laptop that I purchased Nov. 2016. I unfortunately sustained a major physical accident shortly after this purchase and did not use the laptop until about 5 months later. To my dismay I discovered the WORST laptop keyboard EVER! The Right shift key was divided into an [up cursor and shift ]. Even if this configuration had the up cursor to the Right, it would be better but it is on the left. As a female with smaller hands, I cannot easily reach beyond the cursor--it sends the cursor wildly up on documents. When I checked with BestBuy about trying to deal with this problem, they informed me that due to the passage of time, I could not return the computer. So I am STUCK with a laptop that I need to carry a full keyboard in order to word process successfully. :( I attached a felt dot in an attempt to work with the keyboard; it did not help.

Excellent Keyboard/mouse combo
||Posted .Owned for 10 months when reviewed. In a word, excellent. I've had this keyboard and mouse set for almost a year now so I feel I can adequately review it. I’m an IT professional and between work, training pursuits and my own generally nerdiness I spend most of my waking hours parked in front of it. And it has proven to be an excellent companion. I purchased it so I could toggle easily between my work laptop, personal laptop and iPhone and it has performed very well in that capacity. I also wanted a keyboard that employed encryption (it’s shocking how easy it is to hack many wireless keyboards) and this fit the bill for under $80. Under this extreme usage battery life is about ten months, more than adequate in my opinion. Enough about its admirable qualities, what about the downside? Well the mouse has lost connection with one device or another from time to time and had to be re-paired, the keyboard is less prone to this. In all fairness even the most expensive units are susceptible to this. The typing experience is good but not great and some of the mouse buttons can be accidentally activated if you’re not careful. If you need the ultimate in a typing experience, I recommend looking at the MX Keys/MX Master3 mouse combo. One of my coworkers has this setup and it is amazing (albeit at 2.5 times the price I paid). I rarely give anything 5-stars, but I feel for the price point it is deserving in this case. If you take the price out of the equation it knocks it down to 4-stars.

Logitech MK850 Performance review: A quiet, comfy keyboard that needs more snapWhisper-quiet and easy on the wrists thanks to its padded palmrest, the MK850 can switch between your PC, your phone, and your tablet in a flash. One drawback, though, might be a deal breaker.

Q: QuestionDoes the MK850 keyboard have a Print Screen key?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer I just bought this keyboard and tried any number of combinations suggested: FN/ALT/back, FN/back, FN/insert, and so on. Nothing worked.

Q: Questionmy K850 l ogictech keyboard does not light up anymore. how to get it back on
Asked by reep.
- A:Answer Did you try the small on/off switch on the right side toward the back of the keyboard? I only ask because I did not know it was there and had problems with mine at first. I actually took one back and exchanged it because it would not connect. Now I think it was likely turned off and I didn’t know it.

Q: QuestionWhat are the white 1 2 3 keys on the top right used for
Asked by Louie.
- A:Answer They are used to connect it to different devices. After assigning it to up to three devices, pressing a number connects it to the device assigned to the number pressed (and disconnects it from the device it was connected to).

Q: Questionwhere is the windows key on logitech k850 keyboard
Asked by Goya.
- A:Answer Yes. It is not obvious though. The key is in the usual spot but it says "Start" instead of the windows symbol. It is also a Function key so depending on your Fn Lock setting the key might be in another mode.

Q: Questiondo you have to use the fn key to use the function keys (F2,F3...)
Asked by krissy.
- A:Answer Hi If the default settings got changed, with or without knowing, that prevents you from using default function keys (F1 thorough F12), which I need to use a lot, without keeping FN key pressed every time, you can change it by pressing FN + ESC key combination once to LOCK it. This way you don't have to use two fingers (eg. FN + F12) when there is a need to use one of the F1 - F12 keys. Hope this helps someone!

Q: QuestionAre the cap and num lock keys lit in any way?
Asked by Shopper.
- A:Answer The caps lock key turns on illumination on the upper right side of the keyboard. I do not see any indicator for the num lock key.

Q: QuestionHow do a Laptop or desktop connect, if they dont have bluetooth And how does the wireless receiver work, so the keyboard and mouse connect to it, but how do the devices, I mainly want it to work with 3 different laptops
Asked by Psycho.
- A:Answer This Keyboard & Mouse (MK850), and other recent Logitech "Multi-Device" Mice or Keyboards, can be connected via additional USB (Unifying Receivers), to three (3) computers or devices with USB connectors - you just need to purchase additional "Unifying Receivers" and download the "Unifying Software" from Logitech, that allows for pairing and un-pairing of devices. Bluetooth connections are available, but not required, if you choose USB connections via additional Unifying Receivers ($10 or under, each).

Q: QuestionWhere does this keyboard stand in terms of noise compared to other keyboards? The last Logitec keyboard I purchased (a few years ago) was on the noisy end of the spectrum so much that others nearby commented on it. Thanks for your feedback.
Asked by Trigger.
- A:Answer I would say that as far as noise this is on the quieter side. You can hear it but it's mostly on how hard you hit the keys. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being very loud, I would put this as a 3 or 4 .
